Sock hops for the geezers too were necessary when Dave & Kenny started up their Rockfests, because the sock hops for the redneck Illusions crowd usually ended in some kind of pantsless faux-Urban Cowboy bacchanal, which is never pretty.
Many of us grew up with The Fantastic Word Game (TFWG as I prefer) in some form or another before the great internets but now everyone can join in the fun especially since we are right around the corner from our 6th anniversary on December 3rd.
And since Radio-Info did not recognize our 5th anniversary last year, I have every intention of announcing our 6th anniversary on the Radio-Discussions Announcements board this year. ;D
Awww darn it quad....
Early on, we wondered if The Fantastic Word Game (TFWG as I prefer) would survive but it did survive due to the dedicated core group of contributors who keep it going every single day.
The Dude Rule (technically TheDude Rule) is not often used but it rears its ugly head whenever someone posts a contribution that doesn't adhere to our few rules.
Gosh, that scanman learns quick-like, doesn't he. ;D
Radio Discussions is a great place to have a thread like this, but then again anywhere is a great place to discuss band camp, Miss Silkie's tidbits, PowerWorld Industries, Megan McCormick and Olivia Newton-John.
Band camp, Miss Silkie's tidbits, PowerWorld Industries, Megan McCormick and Olivia Newton-John all help to make the one and only Fantastic Word Game (TOAOFWG as others may prefer) something special! 8)
"Something special in the air" used to be a popular slogan and jingle for American Airlines, who, like many of their peers, expects to be kept busy this weekend.
