Fantastic word game

Country Time Lemonade is a blast from the past and, now that you made me think of it, I may have to pick some of that up today.

Even though we are getting a little bit of a snow shower today.

Countdown: 2 days until our anniversary.

Wherever you are on Monday, make sure you stop by the main building and also the main band camp to help everyone celebrate.

Help everyone celebrate our anniversary by not hogging all of Miss Silkie's tasty tidbits, and always remembering to mention Megan McCormick and Olivia Newton-John, whenever you can.

Megan McCormick and Olivia Newton-John, whenever you can, please stop by dmargalotti's office at some point Monday morning before the big celebration begins so that your band camp appearances for the first half of 2013 can be finalized.

Your band camp appearances for the first half of 2013 can be finalized with the HR department every day during business hours.

Guys, I announced our 6th anniversary on the Ask Radio Discussions board. I dredged up an old thread (called Most Popular Thread on RI) and responded on that. We aren't allowed to post on the Announcements board and wasn't really sure how or if I could just make an announcement on Ask RD without really asking a question. So I remembered the Most Popular thread from 2008 (because I had posted on it back then) and did it there. Hopefully, people will see it and maybe even we'll get a response or two on it from the owners/editors. ;D So, pop over there to that thread too, ok? Thanks.

All of your customer service needs at Miss Silkie's Tasty Tidbits are handled by her loyal employees, Sweetie Pie, and even Miss Silkie her own self.

Her loyal employees, Sweetie Pie, and even Miss Silkie her own self, as long as I'm the University sysop, fortunately won't have to fall victim to the virus known as "Metro" that every copy of Window$ 8 seems to come infected with straight out of the box.

I actually had a chance to play with it last night, and it's as bad as the reviews make it out to be. Does it make much sense to call it "Windows" when everything runs full-screen and you have to switch back to the "Start screen" just to switch tasks? Damned thing didn't even have Alt+tab capability! "Where's my real PC? GIMMIE BACK MY REAL PC!!"

(That's not me in that You Tube file, by the way. And it's actually Windows NT 6.2 build 9200, so technically, there really is no such thing as "Windows 8" yet.)

Every copy of Windows 8 seems to come infected with straight out of the box SARS secretly planetd there, according to Alex Jones.

Alex Jones is not one of my fave people if he created Windows 8 which is something I am trying to use right now.

Bought a new laptop (well, two actually) from Dell on Black Friday. They came a couple of days ago, I'm using one of them right now. I do NOT like Windows 8 at all!! Maybe because it's all about touching and swiping and I'm not used to that. I don't have an ipad or iphone or anything like that so I don't do any of that touching or swiping. And my current (old) laptop, which I've had for 4 years, has Windows Vista. I read that Microsoft is creating some kind of application that will bring back the start menu for those people (like me) who don't like the Start screen. It's awful. I'll be first in line to buy that Start Menu upgrade or whatever it's called.

Darth, I just might send the PowerWorld Jet out there to bring you here so you show me my way around this godawful Windows 8.

Right now, I'm using Firefox 17, running on Linux, so I don't have to deal with anything Microsoft.

I test drove Windows 8 myself for a little while out of curiosity, and promptly deleted it after realizing it wasn't "all that". Don't care for the "Metro" interface either, I think it's garbage!

Mobile devices are just fine for those who have them but there are those of us who don't have them and don't need them and don't want them.

There are those of us who don't have them and don't need them and don't want them but I bet if I told you that if you had one you could use it to play Words With Friends, then you might change your mind.
