Certain wannabe dj's trying to hate and tear down instead of respect and learn have occasionally shown up at the Saturday night 80s Rockfests but, in this instance, it really happened, I witnessed it, and I'm still waiting to hear Dave's explanation.

The last performance of the 80s Rockfest was under dimmed lights as Dave looked dreamily into Kenny's eyes.

Dave has yet to respond. He must be using this time to create some really good explanation that we might all almost believe.

Kenny's eyes were getting a little moist as I sang to him and I know that has raised a lot of questions around here but as far as I'm concerned it's none of your business.

Geez, it was just a little male bonding between good buddies. Get your filthy minds out of the gutter already!

Your business is your business, that's for sure, but you did your business in front of everyone so obviously inquiring minds want to know.

I understand it's the lead story on Entertainment Tonight and TMZ.

At least according to what I'm reading here. Haven't been here long enough to know otherwise.

Indeed that has been rare in recent history, but I think the former linguistics czar spelled his name with a u, not an e, in the second-to-the-last spot.

Through the years, I have preached that it's important to remember to bold your beginning and ending clues and, wouldn't you know, there I go and forget.

Wow, I think that was really raptus. This person's profile says he has been around since 2006 and I'm pretty sure it's the same spelling. I checked the archives earlier this year. I believe raptus disappeared a good 6 months (at least) before we lost Anyacat which was 2 years ago so he's been gone since early 2010. I'll see if I can do some quick analysis.

There I go and forget when was the last time we saw raptus so I went wayyyyyyyyy back in the archives to check.

Ok, so it's the same raptus, same spelling from way back then. Last time we saw raptus was way way way back on Page 1483 (doesn't THAT sound ancient!) on October 1, 2010. So I was right about it being the same year we lost Anyacat but it was just a couple months before Anyacat passed. Raptus had reply #14822.

Speaking of our dear friend Anyacat, her last post with us, on July 31, 2010, on page 1400 with reply #13998, was also the last date her account on what was then Radio-Info was active. As we all know, she passed away a few months later, the day after Thanksgiving 2010. Rest in peace, Cat. :'(

Scantily clad women along the sidelines doing leg kicks and shaking their pom poms used to be limited to the cheerleaders, but the past several years, they've thrown in weather reports and sideline reporters doing the same thing.
