Fantastic word game

When you've been married as long as I have, you look forward to being as married as long as my parents have which is going on 54 years in April.
 
A good time to be living in the U.S.A. it was indeed, a time when the world did not spin so fast, unlike today when everything and everybody are in your face, in your ears and on your head nonstop, which is why we created the radio and tv free band camp lounge and library.

In fact, back in the day we were even able to catch up on reading, including post #25573, which seemed to be missing something.
 
A commute is what I'm waitin' for, Warden, so ya gotta let me know the minute you hear from the Governor, 'cause I've spent six years in this lousy prison while a crooked D.A. is tryin' to fry me for a crime I didn't commit!

Do I sound like I've been watching too many old George Raft movies? :D
 
Perry Mason once successfully defended a man who was accused of stealing five bottles of beer by convincing the judge that "you can't make a case out of only five bottles."

Lousy puns aside, here is some trivia for you: Crime novelist Erle Stanley Gardner took the "Perry Mason" name from the Perry Mason Publishing Company; they printed The Youth's Companion, a magazine that Gardner had enjoyed as a child. Now we can say we've learned something today.
 
Make it to the rink before winter is over, and since it's not an oceanliner don't worry about having the special bracelet that gets reworked every so often (with new explanations, Sloopy) for the reworking of our beloved character, our beloved troops and even our not so beloved chump of many moons past.
 
Our not so beloved chump of many moons past is still going around telling everybody that the name on his t-shirt was misspelled and was supposed to say "Champ."
 
"Champ" would have been the misspelling around these parts, but he does pay attention to the cool daily dispatch and follows all the directions.
 
The directions that I occasionally post when newbies join should be followed by all of us but, occasionally, we all have brain farts when we forget to do the simple things like bolding the beginning or ending clue.

Bolding the beginning and ending clue is a very important thing to do to keep the game running smoothly.
 
To keep the game running smoothly, referees are necessary to watch over the participating individuals and ensure they follow all rules, and, most importantly, don't cheat.
