Fantastic word game

During rush hour, especially in the morning, you can see your fellow drivers doing all kinds of things such as eating breakfast, drinking coffee, talking on their cell phones, and even applying make up while looking in the rear view mirror and steering with their knees.

Applying make up while looking in the rear view mirror and steering with their knees somehow just isn't as fun as watching all the guys taking bets on whether the gals will have their mascara on before or after the billboard clock.

Local band camps were usually enjoyable for me, except for the time I accidentally dropped my favorite instrument, a triangle, into Porky Potrzebie's tuba and then, in trying to retrieve it, got my hand stuck and the camp leader poured melted lard into the tuba in an attempt to loosen my hand, and then when I finally was able to remove my hand, the triangle was still stuck and, worse yet, it was now covered in lard.

Whew!

Going to a fireworks display has always been fun for our family expect when one of my daughters was little she was afraid of the booms so she would sit on my lap holding my hands over her ears.

I really do miss those days now that my kids are older.

This bone chilling deep freeze has forced us to move all marching band practices to one of our indoor facilities because the last time the kids practiced outside in weather like this one of the tuba players had to be rushed to the hospital because his lips were frozen solid and stuck to the tuba.

Stuck to the tuba, his lips were removed by paramedics who ran water over them, and it's a good thing that everyone who was there was waiting to come to some consensus over a solution, because all their lip removal solutions before the paramedics arrived were considerably more drastic.

Considerably more drastic solutions could have caused irreparable harm but luckily we were able to save both the tuba and his lips.

lips inc had a great song in the 80's called Funky Town but I think I like the cover version by Pseudo echo better.

Better versions of songs are often performed by bands who cover the song but when it comes to the music of Olivia Newton-John, no one will ever do it better than she does.

Me and you ate a little too much birthday cake at your party, quad so I'm probably going to have to burn off a few calories by running up and down the halls here at PowerWorld Headquarters.

The halls here at PowerWorld headquarters seem to be full of exercise equipment and exercisers these days, but remember when we started out, and they were filled with 45s, albums, reel-to-reels, and paperwork?

45s, albums, reel-to-reels, and paperwork are all kept on display in the PowerWorld Museum so that future generations can get a sense of the way we used to get things done back in the day.
