Fantastic word game

They just stick around and lurk and never identify themselves, but they must be checking in because we always have like ten time more page views than contributions.

And I know that of the regulars, none of us are checking in ten times before making a contribution, that would be to the point of embarrassment, and we're not exactly looking for holy Scripture here. So the regulars are looking in one, maybe sometimes 2 times per post when something else comes up, and there's like nine page views from lurkers for each post, so the lurkers are lurking overtime.

EDITED: Wow. I just checked the page views there, and it's more like 16x more page views than replies. So either some of us contributors are reeeeeeeally thinking about our contributions and mulling them over and over, or there are like twice as many lurkers checking in than I thought when I started this post. But that's probably enough work for now from me. Don't wanna overdo anything.

Ten time more page views than contributions were updated to sixteen times more looky loos almost immediately, because everyone is checking to see when the new PowerWorld meteorological center will be opening, annexed to the library.

The new PowerWorld meteorological center will be opening, annexed to the library, and I can't wait to see the lovely library interns on WTFG-TV and KTFG-TV giving us their forecasts.

There's also a new meteorological major at PowerWorld U (PU as most prefer) and those kids will be interning on and off the air at the new meteorological center as well.

The new PowerWorld meteorological center will be opening, annexed to the library, and will be powered by hydrogen energy, based on research by our staff.

Dingdang WMC.

Their forecasts are highly accurate, and keep us in the know and wearing appropriate clothing.

Their forecasts will not be dependent upon zipcodes they type and click, looking out the window or relying on the prognostication of Punxsutawney Phil, who almost always reports that spring will be delayed until at least March 20, but ol' Phil is usually correct.

Daggone it, quad!

Wearing appropriate clothing for business, i.e. skirts 2 inches below the knee, proper blouses and blazers, with the maximum 2 inch pump, helps to keep the focus on the meteors.

The gams are looking might good there, Miss Silkie, what with all that exercise you get running around town doing the 18 jobs we've given you over the years.

Is it any wonder you were named the Director of Fun. ;D

Miss Silkie has been with us a long time and does pretty much anything we ask of her which is awfully sweet of her considering that, a few years back, for the longest time, many of us thought she was a guy.

See, she was working for us remotely while taking care of other issues and it was quite awhile before we met or spoke to her in person. ;)

Our mistake---and when I say "Our," I mean "Your"---was allowing me, with my verbosity and my crazy sense of humor, to start posting things here and using phrases that are next-to-impossible for anyone else to build on.

For nine years I wrote the daily "Rewind" music/radio history/trivia feature for LARadio.com. and my screen name was, naturally, LARadioRewind. When I joined this site, I used the same name, not realizing that I would start spending so many hours commenting on things that don't involve radio---especially the Game of Fantastic Words, or the GFW, as nobody calls it.

Phrases that are next-to-impossible for anyone else to build on might be a challenge for some, but not for me, although I wish that while I'm composing a 200-word sentence, you guys wouldn't write ten-word sentences and make a dozen posts before I can post mine, because then I have to go back and rewrite it so I'm not using a phrase that appeared 13 posts earlier.

Using a phrase that appeared 13 posts earlier is not always the fault of the poster, sometimes it's the system, but when it happens, all you can do is stop and smile, and keep on keepin' on.

"Stop and smile and keep on keepin' on" is the advice I heard on Dr. Phil's tv show, but when I stopped to smile without realizing I was still standing in the middle of the street, I got hit by a bus.

I got hit by a bus and went to heaven where I found that all of the angels spend time each day lurking on TFWG.

No wonder our view numbers are so astronomical.

Lurking on TFWG seems to be a very popular pastime because this thread has so many more views than posts, which proves that the lurkers are afraid to leap into the conversation, choosing instead to adhere to the old adage "Lurk before you leap."

My puns just get worser 'n' worser! :D

The next post after mine came from quadraphonic so I wonder if quad or LARR or Miss Silkie or scanman will follow this one.
