Fantastic word game

Don't lose your mind, don't lose your marbles, don't lose your temper and, most importantly, don't lose your way.

Most importantly, don't lose your way back to the cabin, because it's probably not a good idea to have to spend the rest of the vacation sleeping in the woods. :D

Sleeping in the woods is fine if you're a golfer, although I would think that the woods wouldn't keep you as warm as some mashies and niblicks and seven-irons.

A little golf humor. Very little.

In the middle of the street this morning, I found dmargalotti holding his head as he tried unsuccessfully to come up with an Early Morning Contribution so I sent him home to bed in the hopes that someone else would fill in for him.

And, as it turns out, that's me but it's no longer early morning. scanman came close but he posted during the overnight hours.

Fill in his TPS reports, if nobody minds, since dmargalotti was taking the family to church this morning, which is about the only place more important than our silicon camp.

Our silicon camp is the source for all our stained glass, which is used to beautify most of our campuses and various buildings, where sometimes even the Game Czar among us might have to overlook tiny mistakes and continue on with discretion.

With discretion, quadraphonic never reprimands associates when they screw up their TPS Reports but, rather, he speaks to them privately about their errors and he instructs them on how to properly submit them.

"He instructs them on how to properly submit them unless they take them to him and he gives them to me to submit to those who took them from them but didn't submit them to him" has to be the most confusing sentence I have ever seen in a John Steinbeck novel.

In a John Steinbeck novel, you tend to find a lot of despair, quiet and otherwise, which would mean that when there are adaptations of his novels, that would be one of the few genres of art that Olivia Newton-John and Megan McCormick would not be suitable.

Olivia Newton-John and Megan McCormick would not be suitable to play in a football game because they are much too sweet and gorgeous to get roughed up like that.

Like that time when there were too many paparazzi and not enough space to walk at that fitness club opening, Olivia Newton-John can hold her own with her fists, and I'm sure Megan McCormick is likewise not too shabby when it comes to the laying on of hands through fisticuffs and pugilistic endeavors.

Career day festivities have to be wrapped up late because of the annual imposition of Mildred McCankersore, who for the past 70 years has tried valiantly to crash the after-party with her career choice of "jumping out of cake," but for the past 13 years, we have dodged her "surprises" by waiting until she falls asleep about 8 o'clock, and wheeling her "cake" into the backroom.

Into the backroom is where Mrs. McCankersore is usually taken but there was that one year when one of the newbies misunderstood the instructions and when Mrs. McCankersore popped up she found herself in the bathroom.

Bathroom singing usually makes even the tone deaf sound pretty good, and since nobody beat me up for screwing up the fill in for him clue, I shall acknowledge my own mistake now that I discovered it.

As a member of the Perfect Society, I am quite sure that the same person who turned off the lights to stop my Ravens' momentum sneaked in and disappeared two words. In both cases, all is well that ends well.

Now that I discovered it earlier this year, The Walking Dead on AMC is one of my favorite shows on television and I'm looking forward to the second half of the third season which returns this Sunday night.

This Sunday night, alas and alack, there will be no big football game, and thus no need for people to avoid calling it what it's been called for years, pretty much since it started.
