Fantastic word game

Fifty years ago AM radio and phonograph records were the primary sources of audio entertainment; today we have internet streaming and MP3's as replacements for the aforementioned media choices.

Choices made by many people today did not include stopping by TFWG.

Now, folks, I realize some of us are about to get walloped by a storm of historic proportions and we had to prepare for that but that shouldn't stop the rest of you from other parts of civilization from holding down the fort. But I didn't see that happen today. LARR, scanman, quad, Miss Silkie, Kenny...you guys should have all been here in force today. I want a written report, in triplicate, on my desk Monday morning from each of you explaining your glaring absences today.

A top priority for us this morning is to make up for lost time since the radiodiscussions.com web site was not available for the last 12 hours or so and while we are not sure why it happened, preliminary reports indicate that the outage may have something to do with the Beyonce's halftime show at the Super Bowl.

Choices need to be made regarding our official records because apparently several contributions made late last night and early this morning that were here earlier today have since disappeared and while it may drive the record keepers crazy, I'm just glad to have The FWG back and I certainly hope the problems experienced by this web site had nothing to do with Beyonce's performance during the Super Bowl halftime show.

Beyonce's performance during the Super Bowl halftime show was the best part of the whole game and she looked incredibly sexy.

Although, personally, I thought she was lipsynching but the 'professionals' say otherwise. Like dmargalotti, I'm happy to be back here but not happy we lost some contributions. I guess it's better than the alternative which would be losing the entire thread and I know that Radio Discussions love us too much to do that. ;D

She looked incredibly sexy to the point that CBS finally got a clue about sending the invitations with the dress code, recognizing that a thong was the only thing left to wear to the stage at the Grammy Awards.

This is why we send out the invitations with menus for our lounge events, suggesting the appropriate dress for the event: Cocktail attire, formal attire, business attire, black tie, white tie, etc. Of course, this means that people need to understand what those dress codes mean. That said, I posted to fifty years ago, and as I hit post the site blew out. It was pretty strange, so I reposted, and then notification that a reply had been posted, then of a crash, and then big chief test pattern.

The only thing left to wear to the stage at the Grammy Awards is nothing which would make for an interesting red carpet show because every answer to "Who are you wearing?" would be nothing.

Which also means Ryan Seacrest would lose one of his 327 jobs so everyone going nude to the Grammys might not be all so bad after all. :D

Would be nothing big in most cases, because they didn't put any effort into the production, but for some reason it hit a nerve in society and spread like wildfire, before the fad finally wore out.

Nothing in mind on that post. Just keeping it going, since I tried to post several times recently and got "timed out" then got the big chief. All's well in love and the FWG (or TFWG as some prefer), except'n that someone who should know better forgot to bold their clue.

The fad finally wore out but I, once again, forgot to bold my ending clue even though I thought for sure I had done that.

Time now to head outside and start digging out from the more than two feet of snow.

The rest of you people in warmer states need to keep things afloat today. ;)

I thought for sure I had done that but then I woke up and realized it was all a dream.

Only about a foot of snow by me...dug out this morning and got into the office for a few hours. It was a nice ride to work because I was one of the few cars out on the roads this morning.

A dream of me and some bikini chicks soaking up the sun on a lonely tropical island sounds pretty good right about now.

We got a good 2 1/2-3 feet here, lights only flickered a few times last night, we never lost power. However, many thousands across the state did lose power especially some areas on the coast south of Boston where it's still snowing.

Right about now I'm feeling grateful; for having RD and The Fantastic Word Game back, and because I don't live in an area effected by the huge blizzard!

Of course, winter isn't over yet, so the possibility still exists of having to endure a big winter storm!

The huge Blizzard I ordered at Dairy Queen was more huge than I thought it would be, coming in a 648-ounce cup and being far more than I could finish before it melted.

(For those of you who are unfamiliar with Dairy Queen, you can read about the Blizzard at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dairy_Queen#Blizzard ---I don't want my posts to be too esoteric.)

What dripped all over himself might have been an embarrassment to LARR (or Steve, as some prefer) but the messy stains were not noticeable because fortunately the Blizzard was vanilla and he was wearing a white shirt, white coat and white pants.

(Everything reminds me of a song. Now I started thinking about Marty Robbins' A White Sport Coat.)

A white shirt, white coat and white pants sounds very sexy on a hot chick but perhaps not so much on LARadioRewind (Steve as some prefer).

;D

LARadioRewing (Steve as some prefer) might look good in a white shirt, a white coat, and white pants, but I don't know I'd admit he's "sexy," even with a pink carnation.

It would take A LOT of coaxing, or something crazy, off the hook, and whack.
