Fantastic word game

The commercial for the latest Purity Product might be on Sundays in some places, and it might also be announced as part of the show lineup some places.

The Travel Channel might be one of those channels I have to let go if the rest of cable doesn't clean up its act and air something besides the dark side and that which appeals to the basest of vacant minds.

Me and mine hope you and yours didn't get whacked too hard by the storms that have pounded most of the U.S. in recent days.

Yeah, I'm still around... just been busy with this whole 'earning a living' thing.

In recent days, we haven't seen much new blood here, other than Lee Anderson who disappeared as quickly as he got here, so it's nice to see Basnya pop in and out for a visit.

Yo, Basnya, it's the weekend. Spent a few minutes here and there helping us on our journey, why don't you. ;)

It's nice to see Basnya pop in and out for a visit and it's also fun to see the little clown pop in and out of a jack-in-the-box when the crank is turned, but I'm guessing that Basnya is very adroit and can pop in and out without the need of another person to turn his crank, if indeed he even has a crank to turn.

His own "Good Will Hunting" copy was worn out, so Richard Simmons settled down for yet another viewing of "A Beautiful Mind."

Yeah, Basnya. Set a spell. Take your shoes off. Yall come back now, y'hear?

Mind your contributions boys and girls because if I'm not mistaken, our illustrious Game Czar only used part of Basnya's ending clue a few posts back and as you know, our commitment to quality means that we have to maintain a higher standard of excellence than those other every day run of the mill threads you find on most message boards.

Those other every day run of the mill threads you find on most message boards don't have the quality and quantity of contributions that we have here and we expect that to continue upward and onward to Page 10,000 even though I messed up my own contribution over on the previous page.

Me so sorry! :-[ :'( :-[ :'(

"I messed up my own contribution over on the previous page" was probably a painful confession for Mister WMC to have to make, especially when we think about all the times he's expressed objections to contributions made by others, especially cute lovable* me, whose creativity should be admired and appreciated.

*I probably should also have included "humble." :D

Creativity should be admired and appreciated, and it always is, as long as it's kept to one (preferably well written) sentence.

One (preferably well written) sentence can often convey more wisdom and meaning than a much longer sentence that might contain sloppy grammar and misspellings and punctuation errors and, even worse, words that aren't even real, such as "skaglatterice" and "flompufferoony."

Didn't I say a few days ago that these sentences should be more challenging? There ya go! ;)

Words that aren't even real, such as "skaglatterice" and "flompufferoony", have a place somewhere but I'm not sure that place is this place.

"That place is this place, and this place is that place, Ach du lieber Augustin, Alles ist hin" was one of the worst examples of an attempt to combine some English lyrics with a 17th-century Viennese song.

Hey, those words do fit the meter of the song! If you're all feeling "cultural," you can read more at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oh_du_lieber_Augustin
