Fantastic word game

Wouldn't mind doing something this weekend but it's the weekend of the change to Daylight Saving Time and I'll have one less hour and I don't want to start to do something and run out of time, so I think it's better if I just do nothing.

It's better if I just do nothing this weekend but in real life I missed work today due to the snowstorm so I'll be going in Saturday and/or Sunday to brave the stupidity of weekend grocery shoppers.

Where's the ice cream?
In the frozen food aisle.
Where's that?
The cold aisle with the frozen food coolers.
Oh.

The stupidity of weekend grocery shoppers does really make it difficult to tolerate picking up my meals for the week due to their inconsideration toward other shoppers as well!

Melting snow means lots of water which reminds me of the ocean which reminds me that I'd rather be in Florida checking out the bikini chicks.

I am so happy to have a great sentence starter that I shall post and be back about the order of the day.

Which, as you all know, involves running the bakery, the lounge kitchen, the library and the fun department. Whew!

Pizza with sausage, peppers, mushrooms, onions, pepperoni and everything else without the anchovies, sounds like a plan.

"Sounds like a plan," Steve thought to himself as he attempted to compose a sentence that would not only be one of his usual lengthy crazy rambling bits of verbiage but would also end in a phrase that would present a very tough challenge to anyone trying to begin a sentence with it, so Steve thought and thought and finally decided to look in the mirror for inspiration and he came up with the idea of simply describing himself as a strong, muscular, handsome, athletic man with strikingly attractive blue eyes and a beautiful smile and a thick head of hair that would have made the members of a 1980s rock band jealous.

Please note: I am not claiming that the above description is even remotely accurate. ;)

A strong, muscular, handsome, athletic man with strikingly attractive blue eyes and a beautiful smile and a thick head of hair that would have made the members of a 1980s rock band jealous is not what Olivia Newton-John was looking for in a member of the opposite sex which is probably why she's been hopefully devoted to me since 1978 even though I was only 14 that year.

That year when Mister dmargalotti was only 14, he wore a Battlestar Galactica t-shirt to school almost every day and he should not have wondered why every female, Olivia Newton-John included, would, perhaps unfairly, deem him to be a science-fiction geek.

That series debuted September 17, 1978---I did my research. ;)

A science-fiction geek is not something I was ever accused of being LARadioRewind so I'm wondering if perhaps you have me confused with another dmargalotti?

Nerd and dork were probably more accurate descriptions of my 14 year old self. I know, hard to believe, right?

Another dmargalotti would explain how dmargalotti gets done all that he does get done such as opening all those international band camp locations and starting our day with his Early Morning Contributions (EMCs as most prefer) but, really, it's just one of him and he does a stellar job.

It's just one of him and he does a stellar job keeping the computer centre chuffed, happy and PC by himself a lot of the time, although Darth_vader does get a bit of help from his posse of Bruce, Robin and (when she's not running the cafeteria) Bev.

[size=8pt]guvax, ipus and (I believe) wgzoo will be offline for maintenence most of the day on Monday. Apologies in advance for the inconvenience if you'd normally log in to the former two machines. guvax and ipus are mirrored on telcolab and socrates, so log in to one of these machines instead.

So, did any of you guys see the comet tonight?

Darth_Vader does get a bit of help from his posse of Bruce, Robin and (when she's not running the cafeteria) Bev. to keep our Power World network functioning while Dave and I are Rockin' the greatest hits til dawn at Illusions.

At Illusions, Dave & Kenny finished up their 80s Rockfest about an hour ago and the maintenance staff is quickly cleaning up so they can set up for this morning's Southington Senior Citizens Pancake Breakfast (SSCPB as most prefer).

I doubt the mechanical bull will get much use during this event. ::)

This morning's Southington Senior Citizens Pancake Breakfast (SSCPB as most prefer) was a hoot'n holler with many enjoying their pancakes along with sausage, toast, hash browns, ham, orange juice, and, of course, morning coffee.
