Fantastic word game

These parts welcome joeybabe25 to The Fantastic Word Game (TFWG as everyone prefers) where we hope to learn much more about our new friend such as whether he or she is male or female.

Because ya never know. Remember, it was years before we found out that Silkie wasn't a guy. :D

Male or female volunteers are wanted to work in the library this summer under the careful guidance, direction, and supervision of Miss Silkie so if that's something you're interested in, please be sure to drop off a completed application and three professional references.

Thanks everyone. Looks like a lotta fun!

Joe (male in Israel)

Three personal references are required for volunteering with the library interns, but that's only because we do not want any riff-raff or ne'er-do-wells adversely affecting the standards set by their overall purity.

Not to be nitpicking or naysaying, but even when ya respond, ya gotta make a contribution joey. Otherwise it throws off the official count for when we reach 10,000. We don't want any nitpickers and naysayere nitpicking and naysaying when we reach that glorious milestone. And you don't have to pullquote anything here, all us smartees get the gist, even if it is from two replies back. As the kids say "It's allll goooood. They still say that, right?

It is no shade at all from the bright sun when you're out in the wide open spaces. 8)

Let me welcome you to The Fantastic Word Game as well, joeybabe25! Hang around a while, and be sure to read through the previous pages to get a feel for how the game is played. Again, welcome! :)

It is no shade at all to sit under a flagpole, especially when the wind is blowing and the flag keeps flapping back and forth.

The Missouri River was once a possibility for a band camp location but dmargalotti wasn't convinced we could make a go of it there so he made the decision to locate elsewhere.

TFWG Rules and Regulations for our new friend, joeybabe25:
-Please use one sentence and one sentence only, not two sentences and not parts of a sentence. As always, a contribution in the form of a haiku will be accepted in memory of our late friend Anyacat.
-Please begin your contribution with the full bolded ending clue from the previous contribution. Please bold your new ending clue. CAPITAL LETTERS will be accepted if you are unable to bold.
-All dialogue outside of your contribution should be italicized.
-Feel free to peruse any or all of the previous 2,690 pages to see what we do here but follow the current rules, not the rules from page 1 as we have evolved over time.
-Do not post just to talk without also leaving a contribution. In other words, if you are gonna post to say hi, please also play the game.

Your TFWG Staff:
WMC: Game Czar
quadraphonic: Director of TPS Reports
dmargalotti: International Director of Band Camp
Miss Silkie: Director of Fun; Head Librarian; Chielf Mixologist; Owner/Manager of Miss Silkie's Tasty Tidbits
Darth_Vader: Director of Internet Technology (At last check, Darth has not been on Radio Discussions since mid-March. I did email him through his profile several days ago but I have not received a response. Let's all hope he is ok.)

TFWG is a subsidiary of PowerWorld LLC which is wholly owned and operated by RadioDiscussions.com and previously by Radio-Info.com. A PowerWorld Board of Governors oversees a Board of Directors who oversee us. As always, take everything with a grain of salt and, above all, have fun. Thanks for playing. ;D

He made the decision to locate elsewhere, somewhere up higher ground near one of the lakes that feeds into the Missouri River.

An error did occur 3 posts ago, and I almost wanted to use the ending clue with "flapping back and forth", but didn't because Silkie got us back on track.

One of the lakes that feeds into the Missouri River may have been the setting for the movie, "On Golden Pond" with Henry Fonda and Katharine Hepburn but it's been a long time since I've seen that movie which if you can believe it, came out 32 years ago in 1981.

Megan McCormick or Olivia Newton-John would really appreciate all the frequent mentions they get here at The Fantastic Word Game (or The FWG as some prefer or TFWG as some others prefer) and I'm sure one day they will be sending us a note of gratitude.
