Fantastic word game

What you can do for them, in the minds of grifters, may be anyone's guess, but it usually involves finding themselves homely, lonely, desperate or easily conned sugar mamas.
 
Nice guys may be nice on the surface or nice underneath, but part of the reason for the creation of our band camp was to ensure nice, well-rounded young ladies and young gentlemen who also have some street savvy without the rough edges.
 
On the Flintstones tv show, celebrities were often parodied and given "Stone Age" names, such as Cary Grant becoming Cary Granite, Tony Curtis becoming Stoney Curtis, and Ann-Margret becoming Ann-Margrock, but Jim Rockford could have appeared without any changes being made to his name, except that the name was fictitious to begin with, so forget I said anything.
 
Jim Rockford will charge us $200 a day plus expenses to figure out what in the world LARR did with dmargalotti's ending clue of 'Jim Rockford' because he seems to have done what he wanted for no apparent reason so I have brought us back by invoking a form of TheDude Rule by using dmargalotti's excellent ending clue.

LARR, I expect a full written report on my desk in the corner office by noontime (EST) Friday.

dmargalotti's excellent ending clue was ignored altogether by LARR, and I would pay Jim Rockford his daily fee plus expenses to get to the bottom of LARR's brazenness, especially if he let me drive that Firebird (whichever model he had at the time).
 
At the time, LARR was probably working on a really long runon sentence of which he would be particularly proud but that does not give him an excuse to completely ignore the previous ending clue so he'll have to answer to his carelessness with that report that's due on my desk by noon tomorrow.
 
That report that's due on my desk by noon tomorrow better contain all the gory details on why, in your last contribution, you failed to adhere to The Fantastic Word Game's easy and simple to follow rules.
 
The Fantastic Word Game's easy and simple to follow rules and the high standards upon which our members are held to, remind me of What's My Line's suave and urbane panalists.

What's My Line's suave and urbane panalists, were quite unlike the panelists on Hollywood Squares, although they did try to put up a good front, just as we do in The Fun Department.
 
Just as we do in The Fun Department, they also do that in the Early Morning Contribution Department (EMCD as dmargalotti prefers) but they can't do that until dmargalotti graces us with his presence first thing in the morning.
 
First thing in the morning, I log on to this forum and review the late night and overnight contributions before making my own post and it really is a great way to start the day.

A great way to start the day in our house is a brisk walk as we watch the sunrise with its lovely golden hues and accompanying pastels
 
It's lovely golden hues and accompanying pastels have been captured on both canvass and film but a painting or a photograph can never compare to the natural beauty of the real thing just as no image or painting of Olivia Newton-John or Megan McCormick could ever compare to the beauty of seeing them in person.
 
Seeing them in person I am afraid I must say Silkie and dmargalotti, wonderful person that he/she are did not play the game staight and now we are off track, I guess

I guess joey thinks there was a mistake made above there, but it seems to me that dmargalotti responded to the bolded clue, then someone beat him, so he used their new bolded clue, then repeated the next bolded clue he originally intended, but he ended his new contribution with the same ending bolded clue.

Sometimes that will happen, and the bolded clue will be different, sometimes the contributor manages to use their same intended (before someone else beat them to the post) bolded clue, and that one reads slightly more awkward in its total composition than some other posts, but it looks good to me.
 
The same ending bolded clue was used both times as my initial response was posted before I realized that joey had posted before me so I posted a new contribution using his ending clue and moved the game forward from there because that's how it's done but of course joey probably was confused since he is still a newbie.

Perfectly understandable. Kind of like being a rookie quarterback in the NFL, joey. Trust me, as you get more experience the game will seem to slow down and your completion percentage will increase.
 
Since he is still a newbie[/b], it's understandable, and actually for some of us (certainly not speaking of myself, just the royal "we") mistakes will be deemed "understandable" in the years to come.
