The things of my youth that I remember with great fondness fill me with fond reveries and a desire to try to recapture my youth by doing some of those same fun things again, although I now have a 65-inch belly and I can probably no longer fit in the inner-tube swing that goes out over the lake and even if I could still fit, I'm sure the rope would either break or bring down the entire tree branch.

Okay, so maybe I didn't keep this sentence short...but at least I taught you guys a fun new word yesterday.

Shul's every few meters might be seen in Israel but what you probably won't see there like we see here is the PowerWorld Annual Summer Topless Driving Parade (PWASTD as everyone prefers) which will occur Memorial Day weekend.

Plus, of course, move-in for the annual summer session of band camp is that weekend. Volunteer sign up sheets are available online and at most retail locations in PowerWorld Town.

Memorial Day weekend is the unofficial start of Summer so let me take a moment to remind you that boating and drinking don't mix.

Don't mix boating and drinking, but you can't hardly keep sun and fun from mixing themselves up.

Mixing themselves up is what happens to a lot of kids as they try to figure out their schedules on the first day of band camp.

On the first day of band camp the topless parade will feature topless drivers from all over the world.

All over the world there is going to be a party according to a song by the Electric Light Orchestra (or E.L.O. as some prefer).

the Electric Light Orchestra (or E.L.O. as some prefer), a favorite of many band campers everywhere, might even come for a visit in their flying saucer to take some of the kiddies time traveling, as part of the Fun Department's never ending quest for a party.

Time traveling, as part of the Fun Department's never ending quest for a party is something that if perfected, I would definitely take advantage of.


The only question is would I go forward or backwards?

But I digress.

As to taking advantage of the weak, what happens if you mistake kindness and patience for weakness and stupidity?
