Fantastic word game

Participation here on a daily basis is a good way to keep your writing skills sharp even though we may have to put up with the occasional run-on sentence.

The occasional run-on sentence is an art form that's been taken to a whole new level thanks to our friend, LARadioRewind who seems to have been absent from this forum for the last few days.

Beginning notes in a piece of music often set the tone for the rest of the piece, but sometimes the overall tone, tempo, and mood of a particular song can change many times.

A shopping spree with JoeyBabe25 includes not only a banana popsicle for 11 cents from the gas station, but maybe even a visit to G.C. Murphy Co. for a few pieces of decent furniture or even an old surplus footlocker.

Back at our very first band camp we had all the great dime stores with stairs and escalators, department stores with elevators and the little old lady with her blue hair who operated the elevator.

Skyscrapers remind of the mis-heard lyrics of Jimi Hendrix' "Purple Haze" when I thought instead of kissing the sky (like skyscrapers) he said 'scuse me while I kiss this guy".

(Not that there's anything wrong with that)

quadraphonic has never said a bad word about the weekly TPS Report Collection (TPSRC as he prefers) because he knows that, without them, we wouldn't exist.

TPS Reports have come a long way just like that footlocker dmargalotti mentioned earlier. Just think. We can emai or fax our weekly TPS Report nowadays or even complete them right on the PowerWorld intracompany website. But back in the early years, we had to walk them over the quad's office which sucked if it was raining and we were over on the other side of campus. And, if you were working on a satellite campus, you could call quad and we had to rely on the honor system. quad could write a book or two about some of those questionable calls. Maybe someday he will.

We wouldn't exist if it were not for the intertubes, and all the connections between us that make the FWG (or TFWG as some prefer, and I even remember a time when tFWG was proffered), including our dedication to the craft.

A great master who will teach you the wonder of the world while helping you master the art of self defense when you're faced with an ever increasing threat from high school bullies in southern California who don't like you for a number of reasons including the fact that you're the new guy from New Jersey and you seem to have caught the eye of a pretty young girl played by Elisabeth Shue is the basis for the original version of The Karate Kid which was made in 1984.
