Fantastic word game

One blew his mouth off, a second one blew his right ear off, and a third one blew off three of his fingers, and that is how the tuba player finally learned that it is not a good idea to launch fireworks shells from inside a tuba, even if doing so does produce a really loud echo.

In the Swiss Alps, our band camp kids take part in mountain climbing, downhill skiing, and lots of yodeling, all of which dmargalotti enjoys when he visits that location.

When he visits that location in the Swiss Alps, Mister dmargalotti dresses in the traditional yodeler's costume of an embroidered white shirt, short leather breeches, colorful socks, clog shoes and a green felt cap with a feather in it, but unfortunately the local residents say he reminds them more of a yokel than a yodeler.

For some reason Ijust started thinking of Ricola cough drops! :D

He reminds them more of a yokel than a yodeler, so he's gonna sharpen his mind and his vocal cords, head back into the Alps and prove, once again, why he is the master of the yodel.

The master of the yodel warms up the contestants so they each be like him can they pretend.

Oh no, wait, that was Yoda. See what I did there? :p

I must say, I did not understand at all why joey did not understand my reference to Yoda from Star Wars who, when he spoke, tended to rearrange phrases in his sentences.

Everything has been going very smoothly on day 2 of band camp move-in. Saw quad earlier in front of one of the dormitories helping move some kids' belongings in. Saw dmargalotti this morning in the campus bookstore. Joey, even though he doesn't understand Yoda-speak, has been a huge hit with the cafeteria ladies. I haven't seen scanman, though, although quad tells me he saw him cleaning the bathrooms this morning. Great job scanman! The great majority of kids should be in by 8pm tonight and we'll get a few stragglers tomorrow morning.

Phrases in his sentences seem to confuse other people so Mister joeybabe has decided that he will no longer use any phrases but instead use short sentences such as those we learned in kindergarten, including "See Spot run" and "Look at me" and "Hear Mister dmargalotti yodel."

Can we expect to see those last four words on the poster advertising the big band concert on the final day of camp? And, if so, how much will Mister dmargalotti pay us to listen? :D

Behind the turntables and the microphones at the 80s Rockfests dmargalotti noticed that The FWG server snafu has cost us about 9 days and a whole lot of lost contributions.

Not sure if this post will stick but as of now (1:15pm ET Tuesday 6/4/13) the most recent contribution before mine was from 5/26/13 which means everything we've done over the past 9 days is gone. I hoping the hard working, dedicated staffers at radiodiscussions.com have finally solved the problems that have plagued this site since Memorial Day so we can finally move forward with our quest to reach 10,000 pages.

Phrases in his sentences are not noticeable, as we have been losing a page a day while completing several pages, which will hopefully turn up with all the tutti fruttiness of the olio that has kept the fun in dysfunctional as we have continued over the past week and two days since we last saw big chief dart board.

We last saw big chief dart board down at the bowling alley which used to be located across the street from the local pool hall before they shut that place down and turned it into a malt shop.

A malt shop awaited the eager band campers each day, where a mellow but cheerful, heavy set woman whose hair was always in a tidy grey bun under a hairnet, greeted each camper by name as she sipped on her coke and made chocolate sodas for a nickel.

Good heavens, we've lost an hour with our pages!

Chocolate sodas for a nickel were always a good way to cool off in the days before air conditioning on those hot summer afternoons as kids who had already gone swimming in the local pond, creek, or watering hole found their way down main street, past the gazebo to the penny arcade.

Past the gazebo to the penny arcade I went, and then I had to return home to get my piggy back full of quarters after I realized that none of the penny arcade games could be played for a penny.

My next stop was the dime store..... :D

My complaint about all the disappearing posts has disappeared. Mister WMC complained that my complaint did not include a contribution to the FWG. That post has also disappeared, along with my reply. Any time any one of us opens this thread, some of the missing posts might be back and other posts might be gone. It's very difficult to continue the FWG---writing it and reading it---when posts keep vanishing. Sometimes a reply will show up...but not the previous post. Sometimes several posts vanish. Trying to follow this thread is like reading War & Peace after every other page has been torn out and thrown away.

The past week, shows that one pretends that our posts never even happened, but also that them what pushed everything out of mind, as it were, so busy with making us happy (and a dime here and there) also worked to make a most unfortunate, daily chain of events over time, turn to good somehow.

Okay, the last page number I saw was 2740, which means that when we get to page 2998, we are really on page 3000, unless of course we strive to get to page 3002 ahead of December 31, which means that we have to work weekends even if we are on a train somewheres...or in a trusted old jalopy that doesn't dump us. But look at all we might have missed that we weren't interested in anyways.

Somehow it took several days to fix a bad bug on Radio Discussions, even though there are I.T. support officials ready on call 24/7.

We'll reach 10,000 no matter how many years it takes...

On call 24/7 post counters are available on the PowerWorld Industries LLC website, but since they let us start this juggernaut here, we'll just have to accept radiodiscussions official count, and move on from there.
