Fantastic word game

Their homework was done at the dining room table, which is also where lunch money was carefully placed each morning in 7 little stacks of 30 cents each.

30 cents each is all the profit that each of the band camp orchestra members made after they divvied up the proceeds, and there would have been a lot more money but Mister dmargalotti had to spend most of it after his shrill piccolo playing caused a nearby herd of mules to go crazy and stampede through the camp and damage several of the instruments that were dropped when the orchestra members fled in panic.

I'm glad the server problems have been fixed. I'd hate for this post to disappear---it was a lot of work!;)

To sing a song of sixpence, I borrowed one of those little stacks of 30 cents that Miss Silkie had left out this morning.

Thanks Miss Silkie, hope the little kiddie didn't miss his lunch 'cuz of me. ;D

Hey, nice to see we made it through two pages today. Nice job, guys.

This morning we sang a song of sixpence, pocket full of rye, four and twenty blackbirds baked in a pie.

A pie is a fine thing to eat for a snack, especially if it's from the library interns, because when it comes to pie, Miss Silkie's girls always remember what Heatwave (and later Big Daddy Kane) said: "ain't no half-steppin'!"

Welcome JVR to the Fantastic Word Game, everyone, and please make him feel welcome.

JVR, welcome to The Fantastic Word Game (TFWG as everyone prefers). Our rules are simple. Please use the entire bolded ending clue from the previous contribution as your beginning clue and then use it as part of a complete well-written sentence. Please bold your new ending clue. It can be one word, a phrase, pretty much anything as long as it makes sense. Your sentence can be short and sweet or it can be really long. If it's really long, LARadioRewind might start crying because he's the master at really long-winded sentences. ;) At your leisure, please feel free to peruse any or all of the previous 2742 pages of TFWG. There'll be a quiz later. Any questions, please feel free to contact quadraphonic or dmargalotti because I usually don't speak to the minions during certain hours of the day from my Game Czar corner office. Again, welcome and have fun.

Regulations, posted frequently by the Game Czar for new contributors to the FWG (TFWG as hardly anyone prefers) are really just a ruse to take up space which gets us to page 10,000 more quickly.

:p

Quickly I ran down the hall to see if the rumors where true that Olivia Newton-John had finally decided to pay a visit to our band camp but I was disappointed to see that it was just a case of mistaken identity.

Mistaken identity can sometimes lead to being hit over the head with a flower pot.

See what I did there? What was that you said on the previous page, Mister WMC, about my "long-winded sentences"? I guess I showed you!

For awhile I also could have sworn that I heard someone say that Olivia Newton-John was coming into the hallways of the FWG (or TFWG as, as has been said, few prefer), and I too was disappointed when the scuttlebutt turned out to be just another urban legend.

I think I just stumbled upon my new hiphop stage name. I got dibs!
