Fantastic word game

Drinking Upper-Ten and writing grammatically correct, but admitedly run on sentences are all I have in the world; that is except for the semi-colen which facilitates my grand ballroom of linguistics!

(WMC, I'm just doing the best I can with the little I have to work with)!

My grand ballroom of linguistics used to be run by raptusregalitur until he disappeared from then-Radio-Info (probably suspended) and then run by Darth_Vader until he also disappeared from our lives and this website.

Our lives and this website tend to have an awful lot of grey and, although we can't change the color of the website, we can always add some color to our lives by attending the '80s Rockfest at Illusions, where I have been invited to serve as a guest DJ but I'm afraid the crowd would turn violent after they heard a few of my insults and sarcastic comments.

Not that there's anything wrong with insults and sarcastic comments, mind you.;)

Insults and sarcastic comments about Illusions are welcome here but insults and sarcastic comments towards them while we are there might not be a good thing as they are bound to turn on us.

I'm here at Illusions getting the main show ready and playing a few early tunes for the early birds. The mechanical bull is ready and so are the hits. joeybabe has made it in from Israel and the gas station across the street from his house. LARR is hiding under the turntable. I think scanman might even be here.

They are bound to turn on us, LARR declared, to which Mister WMC replied, "Those are turntables and they're supposed to be turning."

Thank you, WMC, for that nice set-up. ;)

Turning to LARR, I highfived him for his nice comeback before turning back to the turntable to continue with my portion of the show.

Coming up in 15 minutes, guest host joeybabe plays the 80s for an hour before LARR comes in and then Kenny finishes everything up if he shows up. I haven't seen him yet.

Turning are those turntables right now at Illusions with the greatest hits, mechanical bull is in full swing and this place is packed.

Darn posted too late.

My portion of the show will feature some of the 80s Hair Metal bands and New Wave hits.

New Wave hits are by bands such as Devo, Talking Heads, Split Enz, Squeeze, English Beat, New Order and Depeche Mode and are not to be confused with the 78-rpm recordings made by the women who served with the WAVES during World War II.

Now let's see somebody connect that to the '80s Rockfest! I can't make all of them easy, y'know.

During World War II (WWII as most prefer), young Private Kenny was just starting the 80s Rockfests overseas for the troops.

Dave wasn't involved because...well....he wasn't born yet. They started their professional life together many years later when Kenny finally went into semi-retirement. ;D

How'd I do, LARR? 8)

Starting the 80s Rockfests overseas for the troops is how we are able to bring the coolest rock music show ever to the fine folks serving our country. 8)

Servants of Rockfest, with a heavy 80s influence rocked this place hard with a great turn out tonight, and now it's time for an early breakfast at Denny's.

Now it's time for an early breakfast at Denny's which shall include all the usual breakfast foods such as Captain Crunch, eggs almodine, pancakes served on a heaping tray of skillet potatos, bacon smuggled out of a Russian deli in downtown Tel-Aviv, toast which is extra toatsty, but not too toasty so as to cut your mouth, and one and a quarter do-nuts; all washed down with a bottomless cup of coffee brewed by Hank Williams Junior.

Coffee brewed by Hank Williams Junior sounds awesome right now, as I need some now, and speaking of HWJ the former MNF lead in, are we ready for some football.

Are we ready for some football in the fall but are we ready for more baseball today?

Great job last night everyone! joeybabe, feel free to stay at the PowerWorld Hotel (PWH as most prefer), free of charge, as long as you like unless you'd like to stay at band camp and that's assuming you are staying unless you need to get right back home. I hear they miss you at the gas station across the street from your apartment. Sales have declined severely in the one day you've been away.

Miss Silkie did a great job overseas. She is coming home tonight and all of her duties temporarily taken over by others will revert back to her unless we need to send her off somewhere again. She and I will assume Acting International Director of Band Camp duties for now. Happy Sunday!

More baseball today? I'll take it any day over the week over basketball- there are no words that can sufficiently describe just how much I despise that stupid game.

Yeah, I'm still around...

That stupid game has apparently caused Basnya to forget the main rule of the game which is one sentence and one sentence only.

And since he only pops in less than sporadically, I suppose we can forgive him. I chose to go ahead and use his given clue rather than using TheDude Rule. But, everyone, please remember, it's one sentence and only sentence only.

Guy wires are used to ensure your tall radio tower doesn't fall down.

I trust my drink mixing skills met everyone's expectations during my temporary tenure!

Down, because of the existence of gravity, is the direction that all falling objects fall, so it really is not necessary to say that something "falls down" instead of simply "falls" unless scientists can ever provide an example of something falling up.

How could anyone mention a radio tower and Scott Fybush not immediately post a history of radio towers? ;)
