Fantastic word game

A nasty letter to someone threatening boycotts, civil disobedience, and possible criminal action might also be in order from my laptop, because I am also noticing that same sad reality in my area.

At least I still have the memories, which used to be what helped me through the other 166 hours a week. Now they'll just have to carry me through more hours.

the usual hazy, hot, and humid weather we typically get this time of year usually makes me tired, hot, and sweat-laden, so this fall-like weather is welcome, as would be any other contributors today besides me and dmargalotti.

Where yall be at?

"Me and dmargalotti" said quad as he was wondering what happened to Miss Silkie, joey, LA, scan, and the rest of the regulars around here who all seem to be getting an early start on the weekend.

2 hours early is the starting time I suggested to dmargalotti earlier today regarding tomorrow night's start time for Dave & Kenny's 80s Rockfest because, really, can't we all use some extra 80s rock in our lives.

As I promised (or threatened) earlier today, here are our rules (pay attention joey):

-All contributions must be in the form of one well-written and grammatically correct sentence. Not two or more sentences or half of a sentence but one sentence.
-In honor of our late friend Anyacat, a contribution will be accepted in haiku form.
-All contributions must begin with the entire bolded ending clue from the previous posted contribution.
-Please bold your new ending clue. If you are unable to bold, you may put your clue in CAPITAL LETTERS.
-Clues can be a word, phrase, proper name, pretty much anything as long as it is not vulgar or offensive.
-All dialogue within your post but outside of your game contribution should be italicized.
-At any time, you may, and should, review any or all of the 2,853 pages in our archives.

The Fantastic Word Game (TFWG as pretty much everyone except Miss Silkie prefers) is a subsidiary of PowerWorld LLC and is wholly owned and distributed by RadioDiscussions.com and previously wholly owned and distributed by Radio-Info.com. TFWG is operated by a Board of Directors who answer to an outside Board of Governors. The Fantastic Word Game, TFWG, tFWG, the FWG, PowerWorld, TPS Reports, Miss Silkie's Tasty Tidbits, band camp, bottled water, Illusions, Dave & Kenny's 80s Rockfest, Megan, Olivia, and anything else we've created here are all intelligent properties of RadioDiscussions.com. We welcome anyone and everyone to participate. Above all, have fun and take us with a grain of salt.

Finally, your Board of Directors:

WMC2006: Game Czar
quadraphonic: Director of TPS Reports
dmargalotti: International Director of Band Camp
Miss Silkie: Manager of Miss Silkie's Tasty Tidbits; Head Librarian; Chief Mixologist; Director of Fun

The positions of Linguistics Czar (previously held by raptusregalitur and Darth_Vader) and IT Director (previously held by Darth_Vader) are currently open and unfilled.

Have a nice day. ;D

Can't we all use some extra 80s rock in our lives is the question that Mister WMC posed, and I immediately thought of Rock Hudson because Rock would be 87 years old now and would certainly qualify as an "80s rock" but he died in 1985 and I can't think of anyone else named Rock and I certainly am not going to make another bad pun by mentioning Rock-maninoff or Rock-y the Flying Squirrel.

Hokey smokes!

The Flying Squirrel and his Moose pal were very popular back in the day on their Saturday morning cartoon series.

LARR, you could have used Dwayne The Rock Johnson, rock candy, rock and roll, Plymouth Rock, Rock of Ages, Old Time Rock and Roll, Rock of Gibraltar, rocking chair and even pet rock.

Their Saturday morning cartoon series already has sixteen episodes in the can, but tonight, Dave & Kenny continue their Rockfest tradition, which is what made them popular in the first place, of course with their line of salsas and other condiments.

Some serious dance moves like the Twist or the Pony would make me feel better because i know I have let the group down with my continued ignorance of our rules.

(I am sorry peoples of the FWG. I will try harder to be less clever and more adherent to our history here. Will you kind folks forgive me? That last post was Grover Cleveland's Inaugural lunch in 1886).

Our rules are not there to be used as a beatdown stick, but they are there to serve as more like a carrot leading all of us to better living through conscientiously contributing to the FWG, so eat up that carrot, joeybabe!

Pass me a Nab bro!

Eat up that carrot, joeybabe and all the other vegetables as well so you will be nourished.

I forgive you, joey. :) However, I must point out the *one sentence rule* is, has and always will be part of the rules of playing the game and should be followed diligently. Other than for a Haiku, there are no exceptions to this rule.
