Fantastic word game

Pull out knobs were part of the radio in the first car that I ever owned and I read the instruction manual thoroughly but I never learned how to put the fershlugginer knobs back in.

Yeah, I know---this is a variation of the Three Stooges routine where Moe tells Curly to "throw out the clutch."

Back in the early days, band camp move-in weekends used to be move-in weeks because it took so long for people to travel to just a few isolated campuses and we didn't have all the fancy stuff we have now.

Of course, not only are they fancy but they are also educational.

The FWG juggernaut continues onward as we approach Page 3,000 which isn't that far away.

We are now accepting reservations for Page 3,000.

Some pretty talented and good looking people have been known to occasion those hobo depots on the railroads.

Beyond that I say naught, because there's a true story and I get the copyright.

Everywhere I go, I take headphones and a portable media player which, for now, is always loaded with my favorite more current song called "the Heartless Horseman". 8)

Our band camp repertoire likely won't include a lot of songs by indie artists due to their mostly obscure status.

I'm talking 'bout the stuff commercial radio hasn't helped go mainstream yet.

JEALOUS OF MEGAN MCCORMICK, all the other Globe Trekker wannabees took part in a special Trekker class held this morning and hosted by Megan FAN #1 DMARGALOTTI.

Guys, so far I can't figure out how to bold or italicize on this new fangled thing so let's keep everything light and fluffy (especially you, LARR) while we all figure these new features out. So far, in these very early stages, I'm not a fan.

Megan fan #1 dmargalotti had to get a needle and thread and start stitching up some of the rips in his pants after he accidentally backed into a Kenmore ELECTRIC fan.

For boldface---unless and until the site operators fix the problem---you have to put a "b" in brackets at the beginning and a "/b" in brackets at the end. For italics, use an "i." This site looks very cluttered and confusing now. Instead of white and yellow and blue letters on a black background, how about changing it to black letters on a white or light blue background?

A Kenmore ELECTRIC fan is in use right now because it's too hot in here.

I am soooo confused, It took me an hour to log in apparently my password was no good and a new one was issued, why is time on London England time(GMT).

It's too hot in here even after I took my clothes off, so next I'm going to try taking off my skin.

When I post something, the time shown is seven hours later than it actually is...and almost all the information on my profile has disappeared and I can't re-add it. My birthday remains...but the year shown is now 2009. I understand that some functions of this site will not be operational until the overhaul is completed. Until that happens, I guess I'm four years old.

MY SKIN along with the rest of me isn't too happy with all the changes but we'll give it a shot in the hopes that THINGS MIGHT GET BETTER.

I tried the b in brackets thing but it didn't work. So I'll capitalize my clues from now on. And this dialogue will have to just be non-italicized. Hopefully, that won't confuse scanman too much. Where are the smiley icons?

Things might get better with age, things such as cheese and wine and a good comedy routine, but apparently human beings don't fall into that category because many of us are slowly turning into physical wrecks as we get older.

The bracketed "b" and "/b" work just fine for me, Mister WMC. Try it again. And I've found that some of the threads have smileys with a little circle next to each one so you can click on the one you want. Maybe someone decided that we're overdoing the faces on this thread...but we can still make them by using punctuation marks. To wit: :(

As we get older, ideally we should be getting wiser, and I must be succeeding because a lot of people are starting to call me a wise guy!

Well, I was wrong when I said that the time shown on my posts is seven hours later than it really is. I just started a new thread about Vin Scully returning to the Dodgers broadcast booth for his 65th (!) season and it says that I started the thread late last night! So the times shown are not seven hours later than the actual time---they're 17 hours prior!
