Fantastic word game

Crafting your clue can be difficult but we thrive on creativity and run-on sentences from LARR.

I was going to mention something about joeybabe leaving nearly impossible clues but he isn't here anymore. I tried emailing him through his RD profile a few days ago but have not received a response. His profile says he hasn't posted since Sept 17th. I recall he was having issues with the new site on his mobile device so it's possible we've seen the last of joeybabe. No more trips to the gas station across the street from his house. However, we will keep that and also Nabs and Yoo-Hoo as intelligent property of TFWG. :)

Going into the bullpen, David Ortiz's grand slam last night helped propel my Boston Red Sox over the Detroit Tigers last night at Fenway Park.

Series tied 1-1 and it now moves to Detroit starting Tuesday afternoon. And Tom Brady and the Patriots defeated the Saints in Foxboro yesterday. Boston sports is alive and well.

Man, this website is sooooooooooooooooooooooooooo slow!!

At Fenway Park fans like to sing "Sweet Caroline" by Neil Diamond, proving that Bostonians have lousy taste in music.

Although I'm told that WMC sings "You're The One That I Want" when he goes to the games. At least someone in New England has good taste.

The most recent page of contributions when I looked, twice, was 2928, so I went with what was there, unwittingly.

I actually did check twice that time before I posted, and there wasn't a page 2929. This place has bats in the belfry, and it's contagious to delicate souls like me.[/b].

Unwittingly quad seems to have double-posted his previous contribution which means either there is a problem with the system today, or quad has been hitting the hooch a little early.

Hitting the hooch a little early was one of many problems that occurred during the filming of the 1989 movie Turner & Hooch, but the slobbery dog was not always that easy to control.

See? I just proved that I can include a bad pun in a short sentence as well as in a long sentence. You're welcome.

Easy to control the kids when you threaten them with spankings, which my family believes in for the bad, troublesome boys.

[/i]Yes, discipline can be a challenge but we try to make sure the young ones are following directions.

-crainbebo

Bad, troublesome boys will always be a source of dismay and frustration for their parents until those boys grow up and become professional football players and hockey players.

Watch more Megan McCormick and Olivia Newton-John video products before bedtime and you'll have pleasant dreams after you go to sleep, but you might find yourself having nightmares if you eat Fig Newtons and McCormick garlic salt just before going to bed.

See what I did there?

Bad, troublesome boys don't follow directions like the ones LARR gave to crainbebo a couple of pages ago regarding bolding and italicizing.

Ok kiddies (specifically crainbebo), I'll speak slowly and try to splain it more better for you.

For bolding, at the beginning of the clue, you use [ b ] (no spaces) and, at the end of the same clue, you use a [ / b ] (also no spaces).

For italicizing, you use [ I ] (no spaces) at the beginning of the dialogue and then [ / I ] (no spaces) at the end of the dialogue.

I just realized these extra steps really suck because it's a lot more stuff I need to include in my famous Rules Essay that I post for newbies.

WMC apparently didn't see LARR's contribution which was rather clever in it's mentioning of Fig Newtons and McCormick Garlic Salt so I would just like to let Mr. LARR know that all of us here appreciate his contributions even though a particular Game Czar who shall remain nameless played through as if that post never even occurred.

That post never even occurred, and neither did the next two from quad and dm, I swear they didn't, because there is no doubt in my mind that I would have seen a contribution about The Lovely Olivia anytime and anywhere so I guess the only answer is is that I've come down with a severe case of quadraphonicitis.

So maybe I should stay home and out of the office today. :)

A severe case of quadraphonicitis led to a double post so I edited the double so that it's no longer doubled and I'm merely following myself.

This site is killing me. Too many problems.
