Fantastic word game

Backwards walking after we leave a trail of bread crumbs wouldn't even be able to help some of us figure out what's going on here sometimes, because I swear this place throws some of us curves.
 
Curves were what Hollywood starlets were known for when movies were movies; however, these days it's all string and thong to look like the stick figures who are supposedly today's heart throbs, depending upon where one considers the heart might be located, but then there are those smart alecs of a somewhat more recent past who took great pride in shaking rather than stirring.

Wouldn't you know we didn't note that at the time :eek:

Miss Silkie made two posts, neither of which have showed up, except once when I reposted a post, but then it suddenly appeared. Sooooo, shall we look for the upgraded, new and improved, big chief test pattern?
 
Stirring a big ol' pot of mom's homemade gravy (tomato sauce for you non-Italians) was a lot of fun when I was a kid, especially when I got to dunk in a big chunk of Italian bread while no one was looking.
 
No one was looking when Mr. Babcock, from The Knickerbocker Bank, looked around to check, amazed by Patrick's knowledge about how to make a martini.
 
James Bond's bartender has likely bruised a lot of gin in her time, thus insulting the world's bathtub gin aficionados.
 
Illusions was planning to open a new club off the coast of Alaska because Dave & Kenny thought the location would be ideal, but they canceled their plans after I pointed out that the location was known as the Aleutian Islands and not the Illusion Islands as they had initially thought.

You know what you call an Alaskan optometrist, don't you? An optical Aleutian. :)
 
They had initially thought that October was supposed to be a rainy, nasty month, but, after some chilly fog this morning, it got very nice, so I took a brisk walk before lunch.

It sure got really nice today. Blue sky after about noon time, when the nasty "pea soup" fog died down in the lowlands of Western Washington. The visibility sure goes down in fog, down to about 50 feet at times!

A brisk walk before lunch is a good way to get rid of some calories, but after lunch I have to go to the dentist and I wish there was something I could do to get rid of some cavities.
 
Professionalism, as well as style, class, grace, finesse and debonair will help get you in the door here at PowerWorld but after that, it's your hard work, dedication, and results that will allow you to work your way through the ranks.
 
These days the crème de la crème are very few and far between thanks to the cookie cutter world in which we live; therefore, it is no wonder that everyone under the sun wants to get their children enrolled in our band camps everywhere.

Charm school is the reason our library interns, dental hygienists and so many others in our band camps are so admired. We leave the finishing school material to those other band camps, politicians and organizations.
 
Our band camps everywhere are attracting children from all over the world who are anxious to learn to play bamboula, vena, kemenche, dabakan, danso, digeridoo, langeleik, suikinkutsu and other exotic instruments but when we tell the kids that we don't teach those instruments, preferring to concentrate on more traditional instruments such as trumpet, trombone, drums and piano, the majority of them don't seem discouraged and they actually tell us, "That's okay because those names are easier to pronounce."
