Fantastic word game

Little Lulu Comics was and is my vice, and I must admit it got a little out of hand, but if you don't watch out what you do with your hand you might hurt your fingers.

Looks like LARR got on the same posts-akimbo internet party line I was on a few weeks back there....

Your fingers should have done a little more walking, LARR, to the end of the most recent contribution at the time because, if you backtrack, you will see that you completely missed 8 or 10 contributions.

Yet another bad case of quadraphonicitis.

Greatness, according to Judy Garland, is being a first rate version of yourself and not a second rate version of someone else; and we certainly know that there are those who wish they were us.

LARR, you have made us all feel really great by missing the boat in grand style, I must say. :D

Those who wish they were us could be one of us if they wanted to just by making a contribution to The FWG because there is nothing holding them back but their own inhibitions and fears.

Inhibitions and fears have nothing to do with the FWG when it comes to pervs and other ne'er do wells who prefer not to be noticed by the public.

The public needs to focus more on wholesome, talented celebrities like Megan McCormick and Olivia Newton-John instead of trashy, no talent hacks like Miley, Lindsay, and all of the Kardashians.

Miley, Lindsay, and all of the Kardashians are front page news to keep the masses from paying attention to the written word when the bills don't get paid in those other band camps, while their people are told verbally how glorious it is that they won't have any out of pocket expense, while their paychecks, real and personal property of all kinds, including intellectual property, can be encumbered and otherwise seized for not being able to afford those other expenses that are not out of pocket expenses.

Keep yer eyes open in a stinky economy, boys and girls.

Affordables were found in the dime stores of the day, S.S. Kresge, G.C. Murphy, F.W. Woolworth and others who sold such items as solid wood, unfinished furniture for $5 or a surplus footlocker that doubled as a toy box once painted.

and let us not forget the lounge inspiration - those pop a balloon banana splits that went from a penny to 79 cents

Painted FWG contributions on a billboard would be semi-permanent and would be a definite improvement over the glitches that continue to occur on this site, such as the one yesterday which had me responding to the wrong post because several more recent posts did not show up when I opened this thread.

Maybe part of the problem is that the FWG has 2958 pages. I think from now on I'll make my FWG contributions on one of the threads that has only a single page. Would that work better? Of course nobody here would be able to find them, but still.....

When I opened this thread this time, I did like I do every time and hoped for the best, and then I hoped that no one snuck in on my posting while I was typing, which I have did as quickly as I could.

As quickly as I could, I read the contributions that I missed because I didn't get to check in this morning so, now that I've done that, I'll be moving us along by hopefully following the most recent contribution which may or may be there so I'm just keeping my fingers crossed.

I'm just keeping my fingers crossed like WMC and the rest of yall are that we will finally get that elusive contribution from Megan McCormick and/or Olivia Newton-John and maybe Edie Brickell one day very soon.
