Fantastic word game

Rocked to sleep on luxury little mattresses, custom made and down stuffed in the band camp's home economics school, in custom crafted cradles, made in the band camp's wood shop, the itty bitsys are sure to sleep right through the arrival and departure of Santa Claus.
 
The arrival and departure of Santa Claus must be rather quick, since there are hundreds of millions of children on Santa's nice list around the world, so if there's 500,000 carbon copies of the same Santa on Christmas Eve on NORAD, I'm not surprised.

It's getting really close - 23 days left to Christmas, and hours away from me moving 125 miles away from Marysville to my new apartment west of Yakima. Brrr!! Expecting 5 degrees overnight on Wednesday in Yakima - is this WA or Alaska, I can't tell.

Not surprised by some who make it here right around anniversary time, because we know they want to wish us well and help us along through these last 17 pages to Page 3000.

...and that possible congrats that will be coming our way, as the latest posters to the FWG, from the owners of this mahvelous board.
 
If more people contributed more often, we'd be much further along than we are now but don't despair because I just posted an anniversary thread here on the Off The Air board and also on the RD FAQ and Tip board regarding the anniversary so we might get some temporary help over the next day or two.

Not sure if they'll allow the post to stay on the FAQ board so everyone oughta visit both posts now. By the way, anyone seen LARR? He seems to have disappeared.

Over the next day or two, we'll be celebrating throughout PowerWorld Town so please excuse us if we haven't cleaned up the streamers and confetti right away.

dmargalotti must have had a rough night celebrating as it seems I've come through with today's Early Morning Contribution (EMC as most prefer).
 
Right away I knew it was going to be one of those days when walking across the parking lot this morning the bag containing my lunch ripped open and a bowl full of delicious homemade baked ziti crashed to the pavement.

I would never cry over spilled milk...but baked ziti? That's a different story!
 
On and on 'til the break of metaphorical dawn, which hasn't been scheduled yet, I will be thinking about how cool it is to be the guy who, after a two month hiatus, got to restart the ORIGINAL Fantastic Word Game thread!
 
The ORIGINAL Fantastic Word Game thread is back but I'm not sure if the laws of physics will allow two TFWG's to exist in the universe at the same time.

I fear a great cosmic implosion may be upon us.
 
At the same time, I will participate in as many Fantastic Word Game splits as possible even though, like with songs, the original versions are always still the best!

In my opinion, of course! I have no problem continuing our game wherever the majority of our members would like to do so. 8)

The next move for our little game might be to keep our heads and remember that the other FWG really has a different name, since darth changed it sufficiently that we could stay on the air in case there was any whining about infringement and such.

Any whining about infringement and such can be answered with a simple reminder of how, through circumstances beyond our control, we were FORCED to move our game to another forum.

Thanks for the John Sebastian tune! I was trying to find a version that would play on the site, but all I got was a message from YouTube saying "watch on YouTube".... I could have linked like this but thought it would lose some of the muster... well played!
 
Well played, said RD General Manager, who is new and sees just part of the talent of the librarians and interns in our fully operational libraries, at all of our band camp locations around the world.
 
Forum issues beyond our control forced us to scramble to find a new home and while we've made some progress and continued to cement our place in the yet-to-be-built Internet Hall of Fame (IHF as some prefer), I must admit that there really is no place like home.

A special thanks to RD General Manager for being here to welcome us back with open arms!
