Fantastic word game

Early next week, I'll be triple-checking my posts to be sure I remembered to add the "b" and "/b" tags to the end of my contributions.

What had happened was I was jamming along to a good song playing on my headphones and got a bit distracted while posting my contribution!

The end of my contributions generally end with a period but, on occasion, they might end with a question mark, isn't that right scanman?

Isn't that right scanman, that you need to be able to operate both band camps interchangeably, knowing the nuances of each, because while our band camps may appear to be laid out the same, they have their own personalities, to wit: Us.

Hey, welcome back, WMC. So, with the latest weather system coming in, we stocked up on cocoa and marshmallows.

Us game czars will be stopping by Monday morning to enjoy some of that cocoa and marshmallows during one of our digging out breaks down there at band camp.

Why thank you, Miss Silkie. Not looking forward to more snow but I help with my fair share of shoveling. I'll either be at band camp or outside the main office building. Either way, I'll see you at some point for hot cocoa and marshmallow. :D

Keep the kiddies busy was the advice given by Walter Mitty to G. Gordon Liddy, so Liddy bought several itty-bitty middie blouses for the kiddies to wear while they played in the gritty sand and tried to think of something pretty witty.

WMC, I know what word came to your mind after you read that---and I thank you for not saying it out loud. :)

You've got to sell a sufficient amount of your inventory in order to make back the money you initially invested in the goods and capital (and a little extra for profit if you are a for-profit) so you can continue to stay in business.

Welcome to the Fantastic Word Game, dgstern51! My FWG buddy WMC will be along later to explain the rules and why your first contribution was submitted incorrectly, as I'm too busy with my real work right now to post all that jazz.

You can continue to stay in business as long as you follow the rules and assist in our short term Quest To Page 3,000 (QTP3000 as most prefer), which is just a couple of pages away, and our long term Quest To Page 10,000 (QTP10000 as most prefer).

dgstern, welcome to the Fantastic Word Game (TFWG, tFWG or the FWG, whichever you prefer). Our rules are simple:

-Please begin your contribution with the full bolded ending clue from the previous contribution.
-Please bold your new ending contribution.
-If you are unable to bold, you may use CAPITAL LETTERS.
-All dialogue separate from your game contribution should preferably be italicized. If you are unable to do that, just keep the dialogue separate from the game contribution.
-All contributions should be ONE SENTENCE and one sentence only, preferably a well written sentence at that.
-In memory of our dear late friend Anyacat, contributions will be accepted in haiku form.
-If you are still unsure of what we do here, please feel free to peruse any or all of our 2,997 pages.

Please meet our Board of Directors:
-WMC (that's me)--Game Czar
-dmargalotti (who is apparently on vacation again)--Director of Early Morning Contributions; Interntional Director of Band Camp
-Miss Silkie (Silkie)--Director of Fun; Head Librarian; Chief Mixologist; Owner/Manager of Miss Silkie's Tasty Tidbits
-quadraphonic (on sabattical)-Director of TPS Reports (TPS Reports sent to me in the interim)

and the rest: LARadioRewind/LARR; scanman; Kenny; crainbebo; the Professor and MaryAnn.

The Fantastic Word Game is partly owned and operated by PowerWorld LLC which is moderated by a Board of Directors (us) who are in turn moderated by a Board of Governors. PowerWorld is a business entity of RadioDiscussions.com. TFWG, the FWG, tFWG, band camp, Dave & Kenny's 80s Rockfest, Illusions, bottled water, TPS Reports, Miss Silkie's Tasty Tidbits, the mechanical bull, topless driving, Megan, Olivia, early morning contributions, and LARR's good and bad punnetry are all intelligent property of PowerWorld LLC.

If you have any questions, dgstern, please contact one of us, we'll be happy to assist. Above all, take us with a grain of salt and have fun. We hope you'll stick around for a long time. ;)

With the posting of this contribution, I am continuing my ongoing practice of contributing clever posts but never contributing any money, and the reason is because I often run out of money but I never run out of words.

And my wife will testify to that. :)

Words escape me as to why there were only 2 contributions today (3 if you include this one) so I'd like to know where Miss Silkie and dmargalotti are and what everyone is doing with his or her time.

I mean, really, what could you possibly have to do that's more important than being here?

Posting single, creative sentences right here will help you become the object of great affection across the world wide web.

Across the world wide web are many sites related to information, sales, service, discussions and various other subjects of interest, including the one and only Fantastic Word Game!

Subjects of interest, including the one and only Fantastic Word Game, are interesting subjects to subject yourselves to, provided that you do not object to being subjected to those subjects, in which case the object of your interest would likely be some other subject.

So who will get to make the 30,000th post? We're 24 posts away. It would be funny if the historic post would be made on Saturday evening. Well...it would be funny to me at least.

Some other subject will likely be the subject of that 30,000th post but it would make much more sense if that subject had something to do with our history such as Illusions, Dave & Kenny's 80s Rockfest, topless driving, the mechanical bull, Megan, Olivia, bottled water, TPS Reports, tasty tidbits, band camp, PowerWorld, Radio-Info, Radio Discussions, or Radio Insight.

Illusions, Dave & Kenny's 80s Rockfest, topless driving, the mechanical bull, Megan, Olivia, bottled water, TPS Reports, tasty tidbits, band camp, PowerWorld, Radio-Info, Radio Discussions, or Radio Insight are just a few of the wonderful topics for which we have research material in the library, although we must discourage tasty tidbits in the library research section, but feel free to check out any number of the books from the beater section where plenty of sticky, gooey, chocolate, ice cream, popsicles, etc. heavily cover the binding and pages of the books.

My dear game czar, WMC, speaking only for myself, I have been getting into mischief of the sort that requires the snotty little you know what capability to surface when others are not as conscientious as we are here. Can't speak for dmargalotti, however, except to say that perhaps he is lurking and keeping tabs on the postings to snag that 30,000th post.

The binding and pages of the books take way too much of my time and I wind up losing interest when I try to read every page of a book, so when I say I've read a book from cover to cover, I mean that the only part of the book I've read is the covers.

Much faster that way. Of course I always got an "F" when I had to write a book report in school, but.....

The covers are in use every night this winter during these chilly times so I look forward to warmer times in the spring when I can get away with topless sleeping.
