The kiddies and your company are very sad that no one, especially dmargalotti, has been here yet to contribute which means my late morning contribution will also have to double as today's Early Morning Contribution.

Great lunch specials and items this week include LARR's Punnetry Popovers, Kenny's Eighties Eggs, WMC's Alphabet Soup (see what I did there? WMC? Alphabet?), Miss Silkie's Mixology Mix, and Darth's IMAX ice cream.

Can't wait to see what's on tap for next week. And I always look forward to Anyacat's Kitty Krinkles which is an oft-requested item throughout the year.
 
Darth's IMAX ice cream is appropriately named because if you eat it every day for twenty years, your stomach will be the size of a theater screen.
 
A theater screen (or theatre screen as Darth might prefer except that I forgot he doesn't come here so he'll never know about Darth's IMAX ice cream) is located in the middle of band camp all summer long for nightly movies and programs.
 
Nightly movies and programs would certainly bring out the band campers and we would hope they would also bring out the contributors who seem to be amongst the missing.

Amongst the missing is dmargalotti, quadraphonic, Miss Silkie, LARR, scanman and Kenny, though Miss Silkie is present and accounted for, as will be the others once they get over the thrill of possibly actually experiencing Spring.

I'm sorry, Mr. Game Czar. I shall have to do penance by doubling up on a few posts, as I have been wont to do from time to time.
 
Actually experiencing Spring for us here in the northeast won't happen weather-wise for a few weeks yet as some parts around here are expected to receive up to a foot of snow (around Cape Cod and the Islands) while my area will get a few inches.

Miss Silkie, I get wicked skeered and nervous when you don't show your lovely self here. :D
 
A few inches of rain is all we got this year in Central Ca., the normal is at least 12 inches so looks like another drought year.
 
Another drought year is on tap for Kenny in California so maybe he'll come east more often than just on Saturday nights for his 80s Rockfest at Illusions.
 
His 80s Rockfest at Illusions will feature a collection to outright buy a certain zoo closeby to one of our international band camps, at which time the zoologists will be fired and replaced with band camp alumni, who don't kill a baby giraffe to feed a nursing lion, and then kill the baby lion cubs to get a more desirable man...male lion... in the house.

The house had no electricity for most of yesterday because Southern California Edison was replacing electric lines in the neighborhood so I had a good excuse for not being here and I hope the teacher accepts my note, even though I don't have my parents' signatures.

Thank you, Miss Silkie, for ending with a perfect phrase that allowed me to explain my absence. Three square miles of Glendale were without power all day. I hope my ice cream will re-freeze now.
 
I don't have my parents' signatures nor do I have your parents' signatures but Mrs. LARR's signature will suffice so please forward that excuse note to me as soon as possible, LARR, so I can place that in your personnel file.
 
Your personnel file can become public if you're not careful, you have to watch out those scammers everywhere, in person and on the internet, especially all social networks.
 
Cute pet and baby videos can be seen, and in the news a fair amount of stuff going on that shocks the conscience and shakes one through and through.
 
Through and through, I feel that we have a great little group here but it would be nice to add to our group so that we can move a little quicker with contributions.
