Fantastic word game

Groove a fast ball over the plate to strike out a dangerous hitter with two outs in the bottom of the 9th inning and the tying run on base and you could be the next great relief pitcher in Major League Baseball.

The next great relief pitcher in Major League Baseball will probably be that cold pitcher of lemonade sitting on the lounge card table, sneaked from the lounge and placed solidly behind the backstop.

Behind the backstop, the back-up catcher backed into the railing and fell backwards and broke his back, so now he has to have back surgery and will not be back for at least six weeks, which means that the back-up catcher's back-up catcher will be behind the backstop until the back-up catcher gets back.

Back to the grind for you, LARR, because that contribution was not as interesting or as catchy (see what I did there?) as most of your contributions are.

Most of your contributions are submitted as a single sentence, which is a good thing since the contributions not submitted as a single sentence do not conform to the rules of our game.

The rules of our game are very simple, like keep it to one sentence and with good sentence structure and all of the info, like "the Dude Rule" for example can be found in the TFWG user manual.

Of course WMC does posts them here from time to time.

In the TFWG user manual are more detailed instructions; however, most of the time the Game Czar just lays the law down to any new contributors.

New contributors are expected to post sentences and not money, but I'm guessing that anyone who wanted to make a contribution of money would not be turned away.

Today's relevant Fun Factoid: The first paper money (actually banknotes) was issued in China in the year 806.

Turned away by the rules, some of our new contributors never make a second appearance because they are much too afraid of actually writing complete sentences.

A job resume usually includes of an objective, work history and accomplishments, and perhaps some extraneous material, but all spelled correctly.

Proper grammar doesn't hurt in a spoken interview either. The first time you say, "My friend he knows all about technology and libraries too" you are out out out! Now, if you say, "My friend knows all about technology and libraries too", we might continue the conversation.

All spelled correctly and punctuated properly, every sentence of my term paper was perfect but the professor gave me a B+ and I was disheartened to learn that the reason he didn't give me an A is because I had misspelled my name.

The other students didn't care, though---I rlowered the "curve." :)

I had misspelled my name, or so I thought, but then I double checked and discovered that all was right with the world on a Friiiiiiidaaaaaayyyyyy

On a Friiiiiiidaaaaaayyyyyy here in Massachusetts, it's the start of a rainy weekend but it's supposed to be sunny on Sunday for Father's Day.

And a happy Father's Day weekend to all the dads. I am not a dad...well, not that I'm aware of anyway. :) But if you are a dad, come on down to band camp Sunday morning for brunch. The band campers are stirring up quite the feast for all of you.

The restaurant of his choice is our very own Band Camp Lounge, and since he has provided us with a list of his favorite foods, there will be a feast, and he will be treated as royalty.

As royalty for that day, all dads will be given a crown to wear while dining in the Band Camp Lounge (BCL as most prefer).

The Band Camp Lounge (BCL as most prefer) is the place to be for all occasions, even if it is just a hot day, and you want your fruit smoothies.

Fruit smoothies, direct from Miss Silkie and the lovely young library interns, are the drink of the night down here at Illusions with Dave & Kenny.

The 80s Rockfest is about to get going down here at Illusions. Dave, Kenny, the mechanical bull and fruit smoothies. No better way to spend your Saturday night.
