Fantastic word game

Six more weeks of winter were decreed on February 2, which meant that we had to wait all the way up until March 20 for springtime.
 
For springtime I watched a Spring Byington movie and reread my copy of Silent Spring and then I attached springs to my shoes so I could bounce across the spring that flows behind my house but the exposure to all that water has now made my springs rusty.

I wish I had thought to record my exploits for The Jerry Springer Show. :)
 
Redheads may not have as much fun as blondes, but they're funnier, for example; Lucille Ball, Carol Burnett, Red Skelton, Conan O'Brien, and Woody Woodpecker.
 
Woody Woodpecker was voiced by Grace Lantz, the wife of cartoon producer Walter Lantz, and I often wonder if she had an actual contract to provide the voice of Woody or was she just doing free-lantz work?

Before anyone complains about the bad pun, be glad that I didn't use "free-lantz" as the ending word!
 
"Uhhh, ahhh, uhhh, ahhh" went on for several minutes before the judge in the Donald Sterling trial finally gave up trying to get any coherent answers from Donald and declared a recess.

What's worse, Donald doesn't want anyone bringing punsters to Clippers games!
 
Recess was always a fun time back in grade school because we could run around the playground or play games for awhile or even do nothing which is still better than sitting in class learning stuff.
 
The doohickeys, thingamabobs and whatsits that puzzle us so are really just whatchamacallits, don'tcha know?
 
"Ya sure, yew betcha" was, to put it mildly, not the most dignified way for Sarah Palin to begin a speech announcing that she will run for President in 2015.

But it provided more material for Tina Fey. :)
