Fantastic word game

Reception of adjacent-channel AM and FM signals is impossible due to HD Radio splatter.

Or is it considered bad form to discuss radio in this radiodiscussions.com game?

HD Radio Spatter is not as bad as it used to be as many stations have dropped HD due to lack of public interest.

Due to lack of public interest in that HD radio splatter spatter, and even in the Game Czar missing a post, we listen to regular radio and keep right on making our regular contributions to the FWG (as everyone in the library quietly prefers).

The library received an outpouring of generosity from some of our benefactors, for which we are most appreciative, and which kept the interns pretty busy with their filing and book shelving.

The FWG (as everyone in the library quietly prefers) is about to deliver those sedate readers quite a shock as new management comes in, fires everyone, and switches it to a hip-hop/heavy metal format.

A hip-hop/heavy metal format is not welcome either at band camp or the library and I'm going to work on having that format eliminated just as soon as I figure out how I missed a contribution.

CTListener and I posted a minute or so apart so it's my fault for not doublechecking but, since I'm the Game Czar, I'll place the blame on CTListener. He's young and new, he can handle it. :)

I missed a contribution here and there, and for that we have to hearken back to the crazy post, because apparently the lights were on, but nobody was home.

Nobody was home when I went to visit my neighbor last night but fortunately the back door was unlocked and I'm expecting that any minute now the neighbor will get suspicious and phone me just to say, "Somebody's been eating my porridge!"

I hope he isn't angry---I couldn't bear that. :)

"My porridge is all gone," said the baby bear; but he noticed the little girl had left behind a bag of bagels with smoked salmon, so instead he ate Goldie's lox.

Jewish cuisine was often prepared by my mom when I was growing up, and I was always dismayed because, even though I liked the taste of teiglach, kreplach, challah, sufganiyot, gebratines, and yoykh with shkedei marak, I could never ask her to make them a second time, since I couldn't pronounce any of the names.

But what did she expect? I'm not Jewish.

The names of those things are stuff I've never ever heard of so I guess it's pretty obvious I'm not familiar with Italian food.

:D

I'm not familiar with Italian food other than pizza and those countless combinations of tomato sauce and pasta, distinguishable only by the shape of the pasta, as if that's supposed to make a difference in the way the stuff tastes.

The way the stuff tastes depends upon how much extra love is added by Miss Silkie and the lovely young library interns.

Miss Silkie and the lovely young library interns were all so excited to see me arrive at band camp this morning that they gave me lots of hugs and kisses.

Gonna have to wash all that lipstick off my collar before I go home to Mrs. dmargalotti tonight!

Hugs and kisses, and a brasciole special, with your choice of cannoli, tortoni or spumoni are on the board in the diner today, compliments of the lovely young library interns who pitched in from their allowance to make it all possible.

Hey, welcome back, dmargalotti.

To make it all possible takes a lot of time, work, and effort but somehow our team gets it done on time every time.

Thanks you, Miss Silkie and thanks for those tasty treats that were waiting for me in my office when I got back this morning. You shouldn't have...but I'm glad you did!

On time every time and always well done, dmargalotti has returned from a very special international band camp expedition about which he will tell us when the time is right.

Welcome back, sir, and it's a good thing you came back when you did because I was about 3 minutes away from walking into your office and grabbing those tasty treats. Missed them by THATMUCH!

Twice a day I feed rice to my pet mice because a diet of rice helps prevent lice and keeps the mice looking nice.

I hope I didn't just make an ice of myself!
