Fantastic word game

"Roll over, fetch, and play dead" were the commands I gave to dmargalotti when he played Snoopy and I played Charlie Brown in our Band Camp's production of A Boy Named Charlie Brown, and dmargalotti had everyone in the audience laughing when he ad-libbed, "How about two out of three?"

The "pet panda" reference was timely. In today's newspaper is a picture of a set of panda triplets born July 29 at a wildlife park in Guangzhou, China. Panda triplets are extremely rare. I hope they survive---they're so cute!

Two out of three ain't bad so I guess we'll just have to settle for visits from Megan and Olivia this weekend but a visit from the lovely Mrs. LARR will have to wait for another time.

A visit from the lovely Mrs. LARR will have to wait for another time because she's busy ignoring me this week and it will be several days before she'll be able to ignore anybody else.

Just a little bit of humor, honey. Umm...honey? Humor? Y'know...humor? Honey?

Labor Day weekend is when millions of Americans honor the nation's workers by not going to work.

Go figure! Here is today's Fun Factoid: Oregon was the first state to have a Labor Day, on February 21, 1887. Later that year, President Cleveland decided that the states should observe Labor Day in September. By 1894, 30 states were celebrating Labor Day and it then became a federal holiday.

Not going to work is what I will be doing (or not doing) in real life next week as the feuding and boycotting continues in the retail industry in New England.

Lobster ice cream sounds pretty disgusting to me and something I won't be partaking in unless LARR can come up with some interesting factoids about it that might make me want to try it.

"Try it, you'll like it!" was the tag line of a memorable commercial for a product you'd probably need after consuming lobster ice cream...Alka-Seltzer."

Good food can be found anytime you visit Miss Silkie's Tasty Tidbits any day any time because she and the interns treat every day with a feast.

my sources tell me that Miss Silkie and her crew will be bringing some extra stuff with them for the buffet at Illusions tonight. Join us for Dave & Kenny's 80s Rockfest tonight!

A feast in the east attracted a beast, but the beast was friendly at least.

He said something about a "pic-a-nic basket."

Lola had a name that rhymed with Coca-Cola and her name was much cuter than the name of my old girlfriend, Hepsi.

I know that will be a difficult word to use...but it's so gosh-darned clever!
