Fantastic word game

A blizzard of puns greeted me this evening as I checked in here and I also saw that Miss Silkie and CTListener have apparently fallen under the punnage spell.

Séance, CT? Really CT?? ;)

Miss Silkie and CTListener have apparently fallen under the punnage spell is incorrect, since Miss Silkie has banished all manner of occult activity from the Fun Department, but did it innocuously to draw the little campers away from such.

Such a crutch was a touch too much for elderly Mr. Blutch and he should have known better than to trust the sleazy medical supply salesman who insisted that a crutch made of lead would last much longer than one made of aluminum.

Aluminum was the name of a superhero who helped protect Metropolis prior to Superman's arrival on earth, and every time Aluminum caught crooks in the act of committing a crime, the Daily Planet ran a headline announcing "Aluminum Foils Robbery."

Today's Fun Factoid: Aluminum foil was first manufactured in 1910 in Switzerland. It was more durable than tin foil and cheaper to produce. And a century later there are still people who refer to aluminum foil as tin foil!

Robbery was once attempted on Jack Benny; the robber threatened, "Your money or your life," to which Jack replied, "I'm thinking it over!!"...after a long, long pause.

Not only do many people call it tin foil...more than a few line their hats with it to block alien radio waves!

"Give a hoot, don't pollute" was a hard adage to obey when, every time I went camping, there was no place to put my trash, and I had to respond to the slogan with "I'm leavin' it on the ground 'cause there's no trash can around!"

Sorry, Woodsy. By the way, Jeff, the gunman in that Jack Benny sketch was legendary voice actor Mel Blanc. His book, That's Not All, Folks, is the best autobiography I've ever read---dozens of hilarious anecdotes and stories. (Bob Hope's is my second favorite.)

Toilet paper subject matter was a big topic when I met with my friends, Scott and Cottonelle, up in the Quiilted Northern section of the city, and I felt as though I was on a White Cloud when we were all together because Scott was Charmin me with his opinions and Cottonelle spoke in such an Angel Soft voice that I could barely hear her.

I fully expect Jeff to work the Surfaris' Wipe Out into his next post. :)

I could barely hear her speak because Wipe Out was blasting on the stereo system, causing everyone in the room to boogie down.

I was sitting on the can when I posted this somewhat crappy contribution.

Boogie down tonight at Illusion's as Kenny and I rock the house at our weekly Rockfest featuring the greatest hits of the 70's and 80's blasting through a million dollar sound system with a laser light show that would make Pink Floyd jealous!

Make Pink Floyd jealous by showing them your new amplifier with a volume knob that goes to twelve.

Thanks, scanman1, for getting "Wipe Out" out of the way. You are no doubt flushed with success...

The 80s Rockfest down at Illusions is about to get started and the crowd is starting to fill up this place.

We are going to blow the roof off this dump.

The crowd is starting to fill up this place and pretty soon there will be a two-hour wait to ride Space Mountain, Splash Mountain, the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train and Big Thunder Railroad.

But the restrooms have only a 30-minute wait.

Big Thunder Railroad line was pretty long, but not as much as the "Soar over California" ride in Disney's California Adventure Park.
