Fantastic word game

Megan the The Lovely Olivia (TLO as most prefer), the staff and all of the band campers will be having a grand old time hanging out together and engaging in various activities when Megan and Olivia make their next appearance.

Their next appearance is posted on the bulletin board - yes, we still use the bulletin board - just outside the door of the lounge, so that nobody will miss it on the way into the lounge for their springtime smoothies, or on the way out of the lounge with cookies they sneaked out in their little crumb snatcher digits.

Their little crumb snatcher digits enable the kids to snatch all the vanilla creme cookies from our chrome cookie jar and it is truly a crime the way they cram the cremes into their pockets and leave crumbs on the floor, leaving me feeling crummy and sighing "¡Ay, caramba!"

Floor seats right near the stage are still available for Olivia's next concert when she arrives next week.

My apologies for forgetting the 'and' on my last contribution which should have read "Megan and The Lovely Olivia". scanman correctly and wisely moved us along. Fine job by him.

Next week more contributions will be made to the Fantastic Word Game, and more time will be spent on our bikes since, in my part of the country, the weather will be warmer!

Thanks! I do what I can to keep the gears of the game running smoothly!

The weather will be warmer where you are, scanman, but sadly the weather where I am continues to remain a tad chilly.

Fortunately, not chilly enough for snow.

The way I see it, we should be very happy that we have gotten to springtime, unless of course you are in the middle of the antarctic autumn with poor scanman.

Poor scanman has to suffer through one more night of cold weather, one more chilly day and one more chilly night, then, the nice weather arrives during the day on Wednesday and continues through the weekend!

OK, scanman is now through referring to himself in the third person! :D

The weekend is going to feature warm and sunny weather.

Attention all. Some of you may remember I used to do DJ and promotion work at a Night Club in Wolcott, Connecticut called Illusions. Illusions is closing for good after 31 years on May 9th. The owners are retiring. The property has been sold and will eventually become something else. The end of an era.

Sunny weather might even bring Kenny and Dave together for a last big blowout for an 80s rockfest night.

See what happens when they get successful and have the place roaring along, thanks to us? They can retire and move into the attic with the pigeons at the band camp victorian villa.

80s rockfest night turned into pandemonium after a group of octogenarians crashed the gate and stubbornly refused to leave the building, even though Dave and Kenny explained to them that "80s" refers to a decade and not to the age of the attendees.

The attendees of the 70s rockfest down the road, on the other hand, may very well have been in their 70s, as the youngest of them would have been a mere 35 in 1970 and probably still listening to the hits.

Listening to the hits one night, I just couldn't imagine doing the 80s rockfest anyplace else so I had PowerWorld LLC come up with a few bucks and we bought the dump.

Yes, it was PowerWorld who bought Illusions. We kept it secret but now the secret is out. But we'll still have a huge shindig on May 9th to give the current owners a huge goodbye.

We bought the dump and the first thing we tossed into it was our defective calculator, which somehow added 10 years to the age of a hypothetical music fan who is 70 today.

I just don't trust these newfangled digital doohickeys. No sirree.

70 today and 130 dollars next week is my final payment plan offer for this used, excellent condition, finely tuned bicycle, which is ready to help you get around during these up and coming warm days.

During these up and coming warm days our band camp will be on display as the premier location while those other band camps, desperate for business, put on their airs but have not quite figured out why they are the leftovers when nothing else is available.

It's sad really, but there it is.

When nothing else is available, I grab it in my right hand, twist it and yank it until it pops.

Well, how else am I supposed to get the darn cork out of the wine bottle?
