Fantastic word game

Sometime in the afternoon after the Fun Department had posted the sign, "Excuse Our Mess While We Renovate", a few of the regulars stopped by and asked,"What mess?".
 
"What mess?" the office clerk asked his supervisor as he attempted to stand in front of and conceal the disorganized stacks of paper and other material scattered across the work desk.
 
The work desk appeared to be strewn with all manner of materials, but the architect was well in control of all of the plans and specifications he prepared based on WMC's suggestions, after the PowerWorld meeting of Friday night.
 
After the PowerWorld meeting of Friday night, we are all invited to join Mister WMC, who has promised cold drinks to all of us, and of course he is assuming that the drinking fountain in the park is not out of order.

He told me, "It's the thought that counts---and besides, technically I'm not lying." :)

I tried hot Dr Pepper one time. I took one sip. It tasted like warm cough syrup. But the company had begun suggesting drinking Dr Pepper hot in an effort to increase sales during cold winter months. I doubt that the idea was successful.
 
Point Barrow, Alaska has about 22 hours of daylight in the Summer, and 2 hours of daylight in December.

I been to Nome Alaska in the summertime and it's weird seeing the sunset at about NNW and seeing it rise NNE, not far from the sunset spot 2 hours later.

Holiday decorations, flags to be specific, will be placed on graves of all of our fallen American soldiers in time for Monday's observance of Memorial Day, also known as Decoration Day.

Used to be that we had lots of people coming in here to have some fun but we've lost a number of people over the years who didn't want to have fun anymore.
 
Ruined is the cake someone left out in the rain and just watching all the sweet, green icing flowing down,I don't think that I can take it 'cause it took so long to bake it and I'll never have the recipe again, oh noooo.

Ice cubes were a hot commodity, for me anyway, during my time in Florida which was very enjoyable and, by the way, I'll be back there for the last week of October.

I'm officially back in command. Thanks to Miss Silkie and her crew for everything. I trust that the rest of you behaved yourselves. I'll certainly find out when I read Miss Silkie's report.
