Fantastic word game

Whole words are on occasion too tiresome to type out which is why we sometimes refer to dmargalotti as dm or Mr. IDBC or that guy who was probed by aliens.

Extraterrestrial encounters are not as fun, glamorous, or exciting as they are made out to be on TV and in the movies.

I actually don't have many interesting stories because most of my memories of that time have been suppressed. My psychiatrists says that's a coping mechanism for dealing with traumatic situations. Maybe sometime I will invite a hypnotist to band camp so we can get a handle on what really happened. Although it might be too intense and scary for the kids.

On TV and in the movies, those backstage stories of TFWG (as I prefer) make us look pretty damned good which is great because we ARE pretty damned good!

We continue to rock on day after day including in just a few minutes as Kenny, Dave and I work on sound checks and getting the 80s rock cued up to party hearty at the new Illusions.

Party hearty at the new Illusions is what's happening here tonight and I just did a tribute to the lovely Olivia Newton-John, who had the number one song 35 years ago today which was Magic.

I was listening to a classic Casey Kasem AT 40 Countdown from Aug 29, 1980 earlier today, also Xanadu was in that countdown as well.

Band camp Fall session is about to begin and there's word that The Lovely Olivia may appear at The Homecoming party in October.

BTW when I said last night that "I" did a tribute to the Lovely OLJ, I meant "We".

The Homecoming party in October will definitely feature The Lovely Olivia and might even feature an appearance from Megan McCormick which would be fantastic news for dmargalotti.

Kenny, that's TLO (The Lovely Olivia), not OLJ. What the heck is OLJ?? :D

His most excellent contributions don't often include clever puns, tasty tidbits, or interesting stories about little known facts but they are well written and in the proper format so for that we are thankful.

We are thankful for the abandoned surfboard that went by the wayside, because we needed it to rescue a flailing, flapping little camper that wandered off - twice in fact - but since we are alert and on our toes, recognizing that if we know nothing else about little ones we know that they tend to get lost from time to time, the band camp fun department rescuers were all over it.

Twice. That's right. Twice. Did I happen to mention two times?

The band camp fun department rescuers were all over it and were then all over keeping the little tyke distracted enough for the rest of the day so that he had no reason to disappear and then reappear months later with some strange stories.

:D

Some strange stories about people's toilet habits appeared on this weird web site that, for whatever reason, I stumbled upon and then couldn't make myself exit as I found the stories oddly interesting and mildly amusing.

Mildly amusing banter is about the best we can hope for sometimes, but it's better than nothing.

And remember, an allegation is only as good as its allegator. Allegedly anyway...

It's better than nothing is a popular phrase people use when something doesn't quite meet their expectations but that's not always the case because sometimes you are better with nothing and we should never be willing to settle for anything less than what we expected.

We expected that quadraphonic would have returned to us by now, just as dmargalotti returned to us, but perhaps the aliens aren't done with quadraphonic yet.

The aliens aren't done with quadraphonic yet so we'll just have to wait until they finish probing him for their research and amusement, and then return him to Earth.

Return him to Earth is a good idea but I'm not sure if he was abducted by aliens like I was or if he's just hanging out with Bigfoot and trying to find the Loch Ness Monster.

I don't know why but I get the sense that WMC doesn't quite believe my alien abduction story.
