Fantastic word game

Rain pours down on me , because I feel I was left out.

Red Rain by Peter Gabriel is currently playing on #tigerradio alt place to rock.

I was left out of the decision to play Peter Gabriel tonight at the 80s Rockfest at the new Illusions but I'm never left out of the decision to play some Olivia.

Thanks scanman. Let's hope Jeff pays us a visit soon because I could definitely use a fun and/or interesting factoid right about now. If he doesn't show up soon, we'll have to consider transferring that responsibility to someone else. We're having a great time at Illusions tonight. I thought I actually saw quadraphonic but it was actually a wastebasket in the corner that looked like him.

Olivia is the goddess of music and we make sure her music gets played every Saturday night.

BTW I have a grandniece named Olivia and she's 18 months old.

Loud and proud is the way we go at Illusions and last night was no exception.

scanman, The Lovely Olivia (TLO as everyone prefers) will be on campus next month but is planning on making an excursion into PowerWorld Town once or twice during her stay. Please plan on making available a small security detail to accompany her.[/]

No exception, however, will be made by the local gendarmes if our music, played loud and proud, is louder than allowed.

Because it was louder than loud! Hi, folks, I'm back. (BIG DEAL.)

During the Civil War, the Union Army's observation corps arranged to "borrow' from the Prussian army the services of a balloon expert, Count Ferdinand von Zeppelin, about whom more would be heard much later. Now there's a useless factoid for ya.

Allowed are portable speaker systems playing aloud as long as the volume isn't too loud.

Consider it done! We'll make sure The Lovely Olivia's visit is as comfortable, safe and enjoyable as possible.

As long as the volume isn't too loud the library interns will not generally go ballistic over too many dialogues going back and forth in different languages being studied.

Languages being studied do include French, Spanish and English As A Second Language but do not include Spanglish, Slang, Rap or Smoke Signals.

The local garbage landfill used to be called the dump, but the name had to be changed when those who create identifying names saw the rooms of some of our campers who got real good and used to being cleaned up after.

Some of our campers who got real good and used to being cleaned up after were sat down and given a long lecture about why they need to start keeping the campus clean on their own and how, if they are caught polluting, they'll face some consequences.

Consequences for those caught disobeying the rules can include anything from detention in the band camp library (although with all those lovely young library interns, I'm not sure how much of a punishment that really is) to in the most severe cases, double secret probation.

Double secret probation has not been levied against anyone around band camp in such a long time that I almost forgot that it existed, which means that we are doing things the right way.

We are doing things the right way which is why at 3,260 pages we are one of the longest running threads in cyber space and while that may not get you a seat at the best restaurant in town, it does look good on a resume.

On a resume it is important to be honest and not purloin combinations of experience from resumes of other people.

Other people have expressed interest in becoming our Director of TPS Reports but I'm holding out hope that quad will come back someday so I'm keeping that position unfilled while I continue to take care of those reports in quad's absence.

I'm not exactly sure how long I've been Game Czar. Maybe someday I'll take the time to look through the archives. But I figure it has to be a good 5-6 years at least which means it's one of the longest jobs I've ever held so I might just add it to my real life resume. If nothing else, it would be a good ice breaker in an interview. ;)

Quad's absence has led to less contributions being made per day.

It would be cool to see Quad return to our fantastic game and resume his task of doing the TPS reports, especially since we've seemingly lost our good friend Thomps over at this location for good.

Day after day kiddies from many diverse ethnicities come to our band camp for their superb education, making our band camp the premiere model for multi-ethnicity in a single culture, just as our International Band Camp Director (IBCD) has ensured that we do likewise when we are in our other band camps around the world.
