Fantastic word game

Our achievements should be recognized being that we are the longest thread with the most posts in R-I history.

Happy 9th Anniversary everyone!!!

The longest thread with the most posts in R-I history was us back when there was an R-I, Kenny, and it's still true now for Radio Discussions which is where we've been for a couple years now.

It's ok, Kenny. We understand your ears are ringing from 80s rock and that California smog gets to you. But it's RD now, not R-I, ok buddy? :)

Mr. RD General Manager, please excuse Kenny. We'll take him behind the woodshed for some flogging.

No such zone exists as the space between spaces, though there is a space between each word, and that is a pretty doggoned spacial thing.

Now ask me how I knew all along that two different drivers of two different cars were still part of a whole, even long before the driver of one cruised past in the other.

"That is a pretty doggone spacial thing," people said in the 50's when the Russians launched a dog into orbit.

Unfortunately, they couldn't figure out how to bring her back, so she was a dog gone.

From a distance with proper punctuation and capitalization, was a song performed by Bette Midler, but we will keep her out of it, since we already have Olivia and Megan, and we aren't in the mood for an altercation

The penalty box for us consists of demerits and timeouts and can be dispensed at any time for any little thing as I recently found out.

Isn't that right, Miss Silkie. :)

I recently found out that this forum has a new user, but judging from this user's sole post it looks like a SPAMbot thread but I don't really know if he's man or machine.

Computer Science 255.1: Introduction to Quantum Cognisance - Artificial Intelligence and You. I hear they're doing some really cool things with neural networks these days. Incidentally, I posted a cute little Turing test as a reply in his/her/its thread. Now I guess we'll see.

Funny thing is, with all this state of the art technology they still can't get it to run a decent Doom/Quake server for ---t. So far advanced, yet still so far behind.

I don't really know if he's man or machine because, as long as he or she or it is following the rules, then he or she or it is welcome to contribute.

The easy to understand rules at this festive time of year include not carping about the founder of the FWG, at least in the Fun Department where "Jingle Bell Rock", in its various forms, is played loudly and proudly to give a hint so that those to whom it applies know that they are on the nice list.

They never catch the hint until they see.

Those to whom it applies know that they are on the nice list and can anticipate receiving a nice gift from Santa Claus this Christmas. 🎅

This Christmas has been recorded by Luther Vandross, Donny Hathaway, Chris Brown and others without a definitive version emerging, but Last Christmas is almost always associated with Wham!

His vast vinyl record collection generally gets played on an old turntable that darth rigged up while he was checking the acoustics at Illusions.

In my book there is no such thing as a "just a" whatever the profession.

Especially when a real "just a" is calling the educated and experienced who have paid their dues a "just a" who doesn't have much knowledge. Good thing I was not the subject. The interns smiled sweetly and understood before they returned to say they would like to tear out that "just a's" hair. What did they expect from one of those other band camps?
