Fantastic word game

Immediate medical attention is rarely immediate these days.

Think about it: "Tell your doctor if you have any medical conditions."

WMC, don't get the cats started on Lloyd Price, please.

These days, the prescription drugs you take to help you with various medical conditions will more than likely cause other more serious medical conditions so you just might be better off without them.

Better off without them, MarcB, so now you can focus on finding a real job where you don't have to shag shopping carts or carry old ladies' Depends out to the elderly bus.

Seriously, Marc, you've pretty much run the whole gamut of grocery store chains over the years. Maybe you should try convenience store chains now. Or be an Uber driver. :D

Their early bird dinner special is pretty much the same all over the country, if they are one of those Turkish diners, as they are called.

Sides and fixings might include a cheesy little souffle cup of cranberry sauce, prepared under the watchful eye of one who hollers that the staff are using too much.

How does one overfill a souffle cup while we wait patiently for our diner food? Shot glasses are larger. Meanwhile we sit in the booth nearest the kitchen and listen to the interaction.

The menu in the band camp lounge is so very extensive that it will surely take until we reach Page 10,000 before I can enjoy every single tasty tidbit.

Miss Silkie and the lovely young library interns seem to come up with new and delicious every day.

Another gem from the 70's and 80's is playing right now at Illusions with the place packed as we are blowing the roof off the dump with the greatest hits of all time.

To accomplish the fantastic show that Dave and Kenny and I put on every week at Illusions, we plan ahead by researching; taking advice and requests; listening to constructive criticism; and, running the occasional sound check.

I believe all of this generally takes us about 5 minutes. Sometimes 6.

scanman, was that a member of your Safety and Security Team I saw dancing on the bar last night with one of the lovely young library interns? I hope he was off duty at the time. Wouldn't look good for an on duty security member to be whooping it up like that.

Running the occasional sound check is necessary to make sure the equipment is completely functional and to ensure the audio levels of all the devices in the system are set properly.

Yep; he was off duty and just stopped by as a guest. No member of my team is allowed to "party down" like that while on duty!

Seat belts were installed on the mechanical bull after we watched the Cheers episode with Cliff unable to get off the ride, the staff unable to stop the ride, and fire department officials telling all of them that they couldn't turn it off, but if he just stayed on another couple of days he would break the mechanical bull world record.
