Fantastic word game

Any given time frame for completion of our newest band camp location in Osaka, Japan will depend on the availability of materials and weather conditions.

We're also hoping our project is not interrupted, or for that matter, destroyed by Godzilla.

Weather conditions permitting the fun department will be having a kite flying expedition in the open field adjacent to the library.

Adjacent to the library, at a picnic table in the shade of a large elm tree, I reviewed the plans and blue prints for our newest band camp location in Osaka, Japan because I haven't been there yet.

It won't be ready before the July 4th session so I'll take a quick trip out there right after the 4th with dmargalotti, Miss Silkie and scanman. scanman's security team and the lovely young library interns can run things here while we are there.

I haven't been there yet but Kenny is already at the new Illusions getting ready for tonight's 80s Rockfest so join he and Dave and I for a rockin' good time as we blow the roof off the joint with some great 80s tunes.

Some great 80s tunes tonight includes music by Blondie, Madonna, Prince, Def Leppard, Van Halen, Simple Minds, Depeche Mode, Howard Jones and of course The Lovely Olivia Newton-John.

The Lovely Olivia Newton-John (TLON-J as some prefer and TLO as I prefer) will be along for another visit to band camp very very soon.

The new Illusions is hopping and so is MarcB who is hopping around the dance floor searching for stray shopping carts.

Fireworks shows may be happening soon but, right now, we are celebrating Father's Day so on behalf of everyone at the Fantastic Word Game (TFWG as everyone especially Miss Silkie knows I prefer), I would like to wish all the Dads a very happy Father's Day.

Doing both jobs, i.e. we showed a bit of kindness to a father whose daughter worked hard to publicly embarrass him this morning, and probably had no idea that yesterday was Father's Day, and then we called his daughter an impertinent, arrogant, snippy little *@#%& in public, are all part of the same good deed for the day for dear old dad.

His daughter was left rather silent and red-faced in the presence of hundreds of shore attendees.

Well past midnight sounds about right for the kenny to be getting warmed up for the Saturday Night Rockfest at Illusions.

Which, of course, makes it Sunday morning, but does anyone really think the denizens of Illusions can tell the difference? We have tried for nearly a decade to get them registered for band camp.

Kenny's 1989 Chevy Astro minivan isn't large enough to transport everyone from Illusions to Denny's but it's large enough to include Kenny, Dave, myself, scanman, Miss Silkie, Sweetie Pie, the lovely young library interns, MarcB and his mom, The Lovely Olivia and Megan.

Olivia sits on my lap.

The Greyhound Bus Company terminals used to have luxurious cafeterias where your meals were served on the very Blue Willow China you see in the lounge today, along with a few sets of great china and silverware - yes, silver - that we collected on sale along the way from the Old Pennsy, Santa Fe and B&O Railroad dining cars.

I mean, what the heck, if we are doing travel sized clues, we might at well go all out. Very gracious travel dining once upon a time.

The very Blue Willow China you see in the lounge today, along with a few sets of great china and silverware - yes, silver - that we collected on sale along the way from the Old Pennsy, Santa Fe and B&O Railroad dining cars are never used in the band camp cafeteria because the kiddies would not appreciate the elegance, glamour, history, and style so instead they make an appearance every now and then in the teacher's lounge on special holiday occasions.
