Fantastic word game

Ahead of them lie 3,389 pages plus another 6,611 pages of catching up to do.

That calculation assumes that this post is going to be on Page 3,389.

Try hard, try, attempt, endeavor, assay, seek to, make every effort to, are not words that are in our lexicon here at our superior band camp.

The Fantastic Word Game (TFWG as all Game Czars prefer) goes on and on here at Radio Discussions while TFWG2 came to a sad screeching halt a few weeks ago at the other place due to a lack of contributors.

A lack of contributors has been directly linked to fewer contributions in a government funded research study that followed 500 former contributors over a 5 year period.

Clearly that was money well spent.

A 5 year period elapsed between the time the monster was reportedly under the bed at bedtime, and the time that the monster was called out from under the bed by our very own International Band Camp Director.

Skeletons in the closet are not quite the same as the monster under the bed, although the monster under the bed might make the skeleton's bones pretty rattly.

Oversight of the topless driving topic is quite specific, but on Page 3387 we did have a reference to the game czar's vacation spot near topless beaches

Topless beaches are more common in Europe and other parts of the world where the male population has matured beyond the level of a 12-year old boy.

I'm currently functioning with the maturity level of an 11 and 1/2 year old boy.

A 12-year old boy can definitely make you tear your hair out...well, you know what I mean, but then here in the Fun Department we send them to the pond with a pail of worms, a cooler, and a good old top of the line bamboo pole from the rolled up carpeting, a hook, line, bobber and sinker, where they can row out in the rowboat with their life vests on and fish until they catch supper for the lounge.

All in all it makes for a fun day for them and they have something to show for their trouble.

Supper for the lounge varies from day to day but you can always count on one of Miss Silkie's tasty tidbits for dessert.

Happy Weekend everyone! We'll see you tomorrow night at the new Illusions.

An evening at Illusions was awesome tonight, as everyone enjoyed the great food Miss Silkie and the Library interns provided, and all the great rock by Dave, WMC, and I.

All the great rock by Dave, WMC, and I (or Dave, Kenny, and I) sounded fantastic as usual while the dance show put on by the lovely young library interns and Miss Silkie was great entertainment.
