My Boston Red Sox Voodoo Doll receives much abuse during the season, especially when the team is having a good year.

Sorry, as a lifelong Yankees fan that was about the only way I could bring myself to actually type the words in the opening clue. Even at that, it left a bad taste in my mouth. Yuck. Hey, WMC. My good friends Bucky Dent and Aaron Boone said to say "hi"! :cool:

The big TFWG (as I prefer) 10th Anniversary shindig is gonna be one for the record books, much like Boston's 2004 historic American League Championship Series comeback after an 0-3 deficit against the New York Yankees.

Next week should hopefully be more comfortable in the Game Czar's neighborhood with less or no humidity but it'd still be ok with the humidity because it's not winter and it's not snowing and there's nothing to shovel.

It never will amass the longevity of the original masterpiece but TFWG2 located at the other place was started when TFWG was inaccessible during a dark period and gave many of us an antidote to withdrawal symptoms.

It's still there but no one, not even me, has posted there in almost 2 months. :(
 
Smoking cigarettes and other products is only allowed outside in the parking lot as we like to keep Illusions a smoke free zone.

A smoke free zone around all of PowerWorld Town was created several decades ago well before local and federal smoking laws were put into effect.

Our founders wanted to provide as much of a healthy lifestyle and experience to all band camp members and PW associates as possible.

Kenny, great job as usual last night on the Rockfest. Thanks for surprising me with a few extra tracks by The Lovely Olivia. I needed that!

List items that we will need for the Labor Day band camp shebang so that we can send an e-mail, just in case dmargalotti went shopping for grilling items and was not abducted by aliens once again.

How is it that they "visit" us, but we never visit them back?
 
Once again, we start another week and we continue planning for the fall/Labor Day band camp session.

Miss Silkie, we have been considering opening an outerspace band camp location but we are running into some minor issues such as exactly where to put it; how to get people there; how to get Mom and/or Dad to visit quickly in case of band camper homesickness; things like that. Perhaps dmargalotti's alien friends in high places can assist us with those answers.
 
The fall/Labor Day band camp session came to an abrupt end, when the new guy "purpledevil" showed up, sat down, inhaled sharply, and promptly swallowed his reed.

Benny Goodman or no Benny Goodman, the integration of Jazz groups would have eventually occurred, although the "King of Swing" expedited it by several decades.
