Fantastic word game

The PA system at school was manned by the public school principal, who shared with a minister each morning for the homeroom class morning prayer followed by the pledge of allegiance to our flag at one time in our not too distant history.

In our not too distant history we had phone booths, milkmen, record stores that sold real vinyl records, and little parking lot kiosks where you could get your filmed developed in one hour.
 
One hour is more than enough to extend a kindness or a little laughter in acknowledgement and recognition of those who could use it the most.
 
The most awesome collection of 1970's memorabilia will be on display this weekend in the band camp library so if you want to see far out and groovy things such as pet rocks, mood rings, leisure suits, tube tops, and hot pants, be sure to stop on by.
 
Stop on by and dig the rich earth tones in the library, and be sure to wear your 70s funkadelic platform shoes, rolled up Levis to show off sparkled argyle socks, and have a bite in the lounge with its hip, braided rug, tiffany lampshade, wood beam ceiling and nearly new Amana Radarange with the cedar shake covered range hood.

Maybe the Kenny Rogers will make a cameo appearance and we'll have a Lucille sing-along.

The cedar shake covered range hood seems to have shut the joint down and I've been out of my Game Czar office on sick leave for a couple of days so I'll do my best to move us along without spreading any germs.

Damp weather with autumn temps could certainly contribute to happy germs, so to go with the Manuka honey from our New Zealand band camp the aroma from the pot of soup that we are making in the lounge will certainly bring many band campers inside.

Savoring every delicious spoonful is perfectly acceptable, it's the kids that like to pick up their bowls and slurp their way down to the bottom that I have a problem with.
 
I have a problem with nothing they might do because, after all, that is why we have the Emily Post wing of the library which includes helpful tips on table manners.
 
Helpful tips on table manners are lost on some young hooligans at those other band camps who are known for eating with their elbows on the table among other transgressions.
 
Other transgressions include those perpetrated by hot dogs or just plain bad actors with no particular bone to pick, but we let them slide unless and until they go off the rails with their apparent dutiful little antics.
 
Antics by me this next week in Florida include hopefully getting my tan on, relaxing on the beach, and checking out those all important bikini chicks because, after all, what else do you do in Florida.

Yes, after an abbreviated visit to Illusions earlier tonight, I am once again semi-Czaring it from the warmer confines of the great state of Florida. The weather may be somewhat iffy so we hope, pray and cross our fingers and toes for lots of sunshine. Miss Silkie is in charge.
 
sweat like crazy like here Central CA, but temperatures did finally fall for the weekend to 80 degrees, just in time for our annual Octoberfest.

Clovis has the Octoberfest just 2 blocks from me with a beer garden with live music and plenty of barbeque tri-tip and ribs, it's awesome.

A huge oompah band greeted the adorable band camp cadets as a welcome from the library interns.
 
The library interns are missed by me while I'm down here trying to catch a few rays amongst all the clouds.

I've been assured by our folks on the ground in Jamaica, Cuba and Haiti that our band camps, facilities, and staff are safe. Current forecast now has the hurricane possibly affecting the eastern shore of Florida by Wed or Thursday. I'll be heading in that direction to our band camps along the eastern Florida seashore to check on things since I'm here and since tanning possibilities have decreased tremendously. I'm just that nice. It's why I'm a Game Czar. :)
