Fantastic word game

Some other TFWG board members who shall remain nameless have been known to shirk their duties for a number of months with the excuse that they were abducted by aliens but we know the real reason was that they escaped to a private commune with Darth, raptus and quadraphonic.

Not that there's anything wrong with that.

A refreshing cold drink such as Country Time Lemonade tastes great on a warm summer evening as you sit on the porch swing and wave to your neighbors as they stroll around the neighborhood.

Stroll around the neighborhood or across the floor with The Diamonds when Illusions hosts its Dinosaur Ballroom event.

When Illusions hosts its Dinosaur Ballroom event, we can all put our heads together to try to come up with a good way to move us along on our journey with that clue.

Another contribution to the Fantastic Word Game would, of necessity, have included the same old Illusions crowd with their polka dotted faux furs disguised as ermine, and naturally their charms, diamonds, dipped pearls galore, all bought at the no longer in existence five and ten cent store.

The no longer in existence five and ten cent store was a popular place to hang out on a Saturday afternoon after you caught the matinee showing of the latest double-feature film playing at the local movie theater.

1972 was the year Hot Butter's "Popcorn" was a hit record, and 1973 was the year "Percolator", also by Hot Butter, was released, but how many people remember?

How many people remember when we started this little thing we call the Fantastic Word Game (TFWG as pretty much any sane person prefers)?

I remember, sort of. I was there. Look back on Page 1. I was there. And here we are coming up on 10 years. Man oh man!

Happy Weekend everyone! We'll see you tomorrow night at the new Illusions for some great 80s rock. MarcB, his mom, Cockroach, Sweetie Pie, the lovely young library interns will all be there. Maybe even Darth and Thomps will show their faces.

The Fantastic Word Game (TFWG as pretty much any sane person prefers) reminds us that there has not been a single post until now since that after midnight insult against the majority who actually do recognize the correct title of Fantastic Word Game, but don't get Sweetie Pie started on the topic of making an all out effort to proving you right if we take a notion.

Oh, we'll just talk about baseball..
