Fantastic word game

Sentence structure is extremely important in our little game, Miss Silkie, and so is keeping a contribution to one sentence and one sentence only.

Thank you for making my Game Czar head explode, Miss Silkie. :)

Just 7 days away, folks. I have it on good authority that our esteemed RadioDiscussions moderator, Frank Berry, will make a special guest appearance on December 6th. And I hope that both Tom Taylor and Scott Fybush mention it in their weekly columns even though neither of them really has anything to do with the RD boards. Scott is involved with the other place.

10 years ago next Tuesday our game was begun by The Dude, who occasionally stops by and posts according to the rules of the game he created, which chaps on our dear WMC's hide, and then the rest of us never hear the end of it, but that is a grievance for Festivus.

Festivus comes and goes and so does TheDude who hasn't dropped by our little game in several years that we know of.

TheDude, at some point along the way, changed his profile name to 4dude and his profile says his last activity on this site was in 2014. So I really don't think we need to be concerned with him unless he has some burning desire to suddenly come back and crash our party.

Just 6 days to go!

That we know of no other internet thread with the longevity of TFWG (or The FWG as most of the lovely young library interns and Miss Silkie prefer) is quite humbling to say the least.

Our anniversary date is next Tuesday and I am announcing now that it will be an official half day of work in PowerWorldTown so that everyone can enjoy all the festivities.

Isn't that too darned sweet of me?? :D

Just 5 days to go!

Page 10,000 may be a couple of years from now, but now were rockin' the house down at the New Illusions with the greatest 80s music and right now were playing Livin' On A Prayer by Bon Jovi.

Getting late, a few more songs and time for early morning Grand Slam at Denny's or should I go for the skillets meal with the new improved pancakes?

Livin' On A Prayer by Bon Jovi does not have to do with the history of the Fantastic Word Game (TFWG as I prefer) and how it has lasted for 10 years.

2 days to go!!

It has lasted for 10 years almost, but tomorrow will make it ten years after we finally bought the huge, restricted parcel and built our humongous compound with library, language lab, kiddie lounge, swimming hole and campground for our little band campers; and that was ten years after the International Band Camp Director first scoped it out and started discussions in good faith while we were steered to another land far far away.

It's been real; it's been fun, and I reckon you could say it's been real fun. Gon' get more fun too.

Another land far far away in a time long, long ago was the setting for Star Wars and while I enjoyed the exploits of Luke, Hans, and Leia, I was always more of a Star Trek fan.

And TWFG is on a mission to boldly go where no other internet thread has ever gone before!

A Star Trek fan usually has on standby and ready to go, a replica of the USS Enterprise with all the lights, bells and whistles

Lights, bells, and whistles[/b} as well as fireworks, firecrackers, confetti, streamers, noisemakers and noisemakers are all in use to celebrate the massive 10 year anniversary of the Fantastic Word Game (TFWG as I think even Miss Silkie would prefer for the day).

Happy 10 year anniversary on Tuesday everyone! I would just like to thank everyone currently and previously involved over ten years. Thanks to the original RadioInfo.com; the later Radio-Info.com; RadioDiscussions.com; and, another discussion group which hosted us during the brief RD shutdown.

Thanks especially to our core group of active and semi-active contributors especially our Board of Directors:

WMC (me): Game Czar
dmargalotti: International Director of Band Camp
Miss Silkie: Chief Mixologist; Head Librarian; Director of Fun; Owner/Operator of Miss Silkie's Tasty Tidbits
scanman: Head Of Safety and Security (HOSS as most prefer)

and special thanks to Kenny; CTListener; Darth, Bruce, Robin and the entire IT Team; the late great Anyacat who is always with us; and lots of people I'm forgetting.

The Fantastic Word Game is a subsidiary of and owned and operated by PowerWorld LLC and hosted by RadioDiscussions.com and previously RadioInfo.com and Radio-Info.com. The Board of Directors is governed by, what else, a Board of Governors. PowerWorld LLC owns all intelligent property of the Fantastic Word Game including: the Fantastic Word Game; TFWG; the FWG; tFWG; Illusions; band camp; the mechanical bull; bottled water; topless driving; Miss Silkie's Tasty Tidbits; Sweetie Pie; The Lovely Olivia (TLO as most prefer); Megan; alien groping; Page 10,000; and, one sentence and one sentence only.

Happy 10th Anniversary everyone and here's to another 10 big years!!

The massive 10 year anniversary of the Fantastic Word Game (TFWG as I think even Miss Silkie would prefer for the day) was going to be celebrated with a prime time network TV special hosted by Dick Clark but sadly he's no longer with us and Ryan Seacrest was unavailable.

Ryan Seacrest was unavailable, since we in the Fun Department politely snubbed him when he asked to be invited to get face time.

The interns organized a newscast with the band campers.

Their congratulations on our big 10th anniversary are mostly expressions of being awestruck that a group of strangers from all around the world could keep such a simple game going for such a long period of time.

From the genius of an IT guy to a humble guy across the street from a gas station on the other side of the world, we have it all right here.
