Fantastic word game

Work against us it may, but we will not be deterred from reaching our ultimate goal as the exceptional and extraordinary champions that we are.

Reaching our ultimate goal as the exceptional and extraordinary champions that we are will no doubt attract many more contributors to our ranks.

Eat dinner at 3pm or just have brunch all day Sunday and most of the night into Monday, between features, as the library and fun department host "All Selleck All Day Long" in the band camp auditorium.

Yes, our buffet will serve omelettes, blueberry and strawberry crepes with ice cream, syrup and whipped cream, smoked sausage links, bacon, smoked salmon with cream cheese and capers, home fries with scrambled egg, peppers and onions, mini pastries, fruit and veggie salads, beef filet with au jus, brasciole, just to name a few of our menu items. We will offer champagne as well as all of the usual drinks like coffees in many flavors, tea, lemonade. Probably not as nice or expansive a menu as the Hyatt, and no wandering troubadors, but we do what we can.

The "All Selleck All Day Long" marathon is always a hit, especially when it follows the Saturday Night Rockfest and precedes the "All Olivia All Day Long Saturday", and the All Megan All Day Long Sunday".

We have to have those catered.

The "All Olivia All Day Long Saturday", and the "All Megan All Day Long Sunday" are especially nice because The Lovely Olivia (TLO as most prefer) and Megan show up for those events while Tom Selleck has not cleared his schedule for us yet.

Between filming Blue Bloods (one of my favorite shows by the way) and maintenance of his moustache, he just doesn't have a lot of free time but the invite is open and he may be able to make some time for us in the late spring.

Appearances by celebrities at band camp functions go all the way back to the 1930's when some of our first guests to appear included Myrna Loy, Shirley Temple, Joan Crawford, and 2 of the Marx Brothers.

Needless to say the Joan Crawford appearance didn't go well once she realized all of our camps were equipped with wire hangers. She was never invited back after that. The kids loved the time when Groucho and Chico stopped by but oddly enough Harpo couldn't attend because he was dealing with a bout of laryngitis. Oh, the irony.

The Marx Brothers, usually seen in films starring Groucho, Chico and Harpo, also occasionally featured Herbert Manfred "Zeppo" Marx, whose moustache was not grease painted on as was his brother's, and who was either busy with his theatrical agent duties, engineering, schmoozing Mae West somewhere in the drive-in Marx Brothers/Mae West double feature or all of the above.

One contribution from WMC with another by scanman pretty much sums up the page, so besides making sure the ballroom at the other location is presentable, and besides getting ready for the Illusions Saturday Night Rockfest, we ask the others, what's the deal, Lucille?

Do we ever have the new Illusions jampacked tonight as everyone is creating some dancing heat to combat the frigid temperatures and wind.

We'll see you in the early morning hours at Denny's for some Grand Slams and pancakes. Dave is paying.

And it's that time again. Yup, another trip to Florida but it's not really a beachy/checkin' out the chicks week. Heading down to the left coast of Florida on Tuesday to take in a spring training game next Thursday. Quick trip, down Tuesday, back Friday, game on Thursday, possibly hanging with a friend for lunch around the beach on Wednesday. So their might be some brief bikini watching Wednesday. The chick watch will be in May.

Warming bottles and changing dirty diapers are performed by moms and dads of their respective little ones in the band camp nursery.
