Fantastic word game

The unwanted advances of a certain game czar could easily make things uncomfortable for her, but from what I've personally witnessed while enjoying my time here with these distinguished campers, Miss Silkie can certainly hold her own against any advances that didn't meet her approval .

Any advances that didn't meet her approval were dealt with swiftly and firmly and most of the girls had no idea that there was even the slightest hint of inappropriate behavior.

Inappropriate behavior and impropriety are usually dealt with in such a way that ne'er do wells could mistakenly believe that they are being managed discreetly out of fear or discomfort, but everyone else knows that is not the case.

The case here in central Massachusetts is that everything is pretty much closed down due to the blizzard which is great because there is zero visability anyway.

Harsh may have just won the prize for longest ending contribution in the 10+ years of this game. Sadly, I've never kept notes on that particular statistic but I'd be comfortable giving him that distinction.

Anyway you look at it, the goal to 10,000 pages begins to draw nearer and nearer more quickly with each passing day.

I am both honored and humbled if I do indeed hold that distinction and have suddenly found myself a part of the Fantastic Word Game (or TFWG, as dmargalotti prefers) history books.

The goal to 10,000 pages begins to draw nearer and nearer more quickly with each passing day and just as President John F. Kennedy (JFK as most prefer) said in reference to our nation's goal of putting a man on the moon by the end of the decade in the 60's, we chose to do these things not because they are easy but because they are hard.

We chose to do these things not because they are easy but because they are hard, as that will provide us all with a satisfying sense of accomplishment knowing that we all worked together and accomplished our goal as a team.

We all worked together and accomplished our goal as a team, and when it seemed that there might be trouble brewing everyone came and contributed to keep things clean, safe and fun for all.

All the hype surrounding today's snow storm made it sound like it was the end of the world and we were all going to die.

Thankfully the storm did not even come close to meeting expectations and all of our east coast band camps are expected to be open for business as usual tomorrow morning.

Die Another Day features Pierce Brosnan as James Bond, but my favorite Bond is still Sean Connery, who also performed with great distinction in The Russia House, The Great Train Robbery and in Indiana Jones and The Last Crusade, so thank goodness I was up to the challenge with the first word of the sentence from the previous clue.

The previous clue lead to a James Bond reference and while I do share Miss Silkie's appreciation for Sean Connery as 007, I was more partial to Roger Moore although I do think Daniel Craig has done a great job in that role.

Daniel Craig has done a great job in that role, but I still favor Roger Moore and his portrayal of the secret agent in "For Your Eyes Only".

"For Your Eyes Only" was a good song by the lovely Sheena Easton who has not been a guest of ours at band camp so I'll look into that when I get back into the office this week.

We'll see if we can persuade Sheena to come in the next time Olivia and Megan make appearances.[/I]

Harsh, it's actually me who prefers 'TFWG'. dmargalotti, who is apparently much too polite to correct you, prefers 'the FWG'. Unless he's changed his mind and has come over to the dark side and prefers 'TFWG' just like everyone else (except Miss Silkie).

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8hHjRi12uZk Sheena from 1981 at the Oscars with an appearance by 'Jaws'

When I get back into the office this week, I'm going to be in a hurry to leave before the cops are called, as the office I'd be in would not be mine.

Geez, WMC. Just when I thought I was holding my own weight as a camper in the Fantastic Word Game. I have given myself a much deserved and well placed face palm as a result.

I prefer TFWG, for the record.

The office I'd be in would not be mine which means dmargalotti would be in BIIIIIIIIIIIIG trouble for painting the walls with zebra stripes as he has been known to do when I go on vacation.

That dmargalotti. Such a funny young man.

It's ok, Harsh, you wouldn't have known. He used to mention it 3 or 4 times per week until Megan McCormick started making her appearances at band camp so now he mentions her 3 or 4 (hundred) times per week.

Go on vacation during the summer in order to get away from the usual home and work routine for a bit, and/or during the winter season to a warmer climate in order to get away from usual routine and the cold, snow and ice.

The cold, snow and ice means the lovely young library interns are all bundled up with an extra layer of clothing which probably explains why WMC is so grumpy today.

I've always been a TWFG guy. Not sure where you ever got the notion that i was in the "the FWG" camp. I usually mentioned it out of love and respect for Miss Silkie but my own personal preference has beend TFWG. It's just cleaner and neater.

WMC is so grumpy today, perhaps also because after he shoveled the driveway, the snow plow rolled by and re-piled the driveway.

On hold for now, but I'm hoping to have this customer service representative back on the phone to provide me the assistance I need, before I lose my patience and tell him off.
