Fantastic word game

On a hot day in Houston, it's always advisable to always bring an extra set of fresh clothing with you when working outside, as the high humidity and soaring temperatures will render those you began with soaking wet in less than 30 minutes.

In less than 30 minutes you will discover that the distance between exits on the New Jersey Turnpike is usually about 10 miles, and we recommend obeying the speed limit, noting that upon entry you receive your sweepstakes entry stub with a timestamp, which is also clocked when you finally exit..

A timestamp, which is also clocked when you finally exit, is generated on a report which ends up on WMC2006's desk, and immediately alerts him to any wayward band campers attempting to sneak away unannounced at any time during the course of a participant's stay.

Just kidding, of course. The Czar is certainly not keeping that close of tabs on the merry band of campers. Or is he?!?!

At any time during the course of a participant's stay any of our myriad staff are close at hand for any issues which may arise that could jeopardize his or her well being in any way.

Contributors like Harsh make a faux pais from time to time, such as ending a clue with a possessive sentence that could only be salvaged by the fantastic gamesmanship of our most honorable Czar.

thanks, dmargalotti. You made my otherwise lousy day, significantly better. :)

The fantastic gamesmanship of our most honorable Czar (Game Czar or GC as I prefer) prefers something easier but, remember, this is after all a word/writing game so we gotta do what we gotta do to get through even the difficult clues just as we get through the easier clues.

The easier clues make it simpler to create a single sentence which can then be posted here as a contribution to the original Fantastic Word Game.

There exists a Fantastic Word Game 2 elsewhere on the web, but this one is, IMO, the only true FWG!

The Original Fantastic Word Game may have other versions and knockoffs, but much like Coca-Cola, nothing can ever eclipse the original, most successful formula that will always hold a special place within the heart of the masses.

The original Fantastic Word Game is trademarked, copyrighted, annotated, licensed, and officially sanctioned by PowerWorld Industries, LLC and any unlawful use of our name, image, or brand will be met with a swift and harsh response from our team of legal bulldogs.

Within the heart of the masses the original Fantastic Word Game, our team of legal bulldogs and our usual team of fantastic word specialists manage to formulate sentences from just about any word arrangement or conglomeration.

There is a saying that discretion is the better part of valor.

Just about any word arrangement or conglomeration works at the Fantastic Word Game (or TFWG, as I prefer), but never skipping a beat by combining the two previous posts that somehow found themselves contributed at the same time, requires a level of wit and intelligence that I just don't possess.

Nicely played, Miss Silkie. Sorry for the snafu. I honestly didn't see dmargalotti's post when I penned my earlier offering.

A level of wit and intelligence that I just don't possess was an explanation to which Robot repeatedly commented, "Does not compute".

Nothing to apologize for. It happens all the time. Delayed appearance of your post coupled with dmargalotti's post while yours was being processed - or some such thing.

Compute the answer and it still won't solve the problem because according to the time stamp on our last contributions, Harsh, yours posted a few minutes before mine however I'm quite certain it was not there when I looked.

No harm, no foul. We know the rules and we're following them accordingly. Thankfully Miss Silkie stepped in and kept things moving forward. Ultimately it will be up the Game Czar to decide if he wants to issue any demerits but I'll take my chances as my previously unblemished record speaks for itself.

When I looked at her, my heart fluttered, my palms began to sweat, and I stumbled and murmured around so badly that I just couldn't get the words out to tell her how much she would play a key role in my continued pursuit of happiness and fulfillment.

I'm with you two. Let's just blame the earlier gaffe on the website. I don't want to raise the ire of the Game Czar and get sent to a "time out". :)

A warm, sunny beach is good, dmargalotti, but steer clear of the entire upper Texas coast, unless you don't mind coming home with more oil on you than one of the barges that carry it into the port.

Into the port I go to check on the antics of the little mice that keep things going behind the scenes.

No demerits needed, folks. We can't help what the system does to us. We can only keep moving forward and hope that everything else moves forward with us.
