Fantastic word game

Something I could eat every night is probably not very appealing to most band campers, but if it came right down to it, it would keep me healthy and rolling merrily along.

Upon us, here at the Fantastic Word Game (or TFWG, as the majority prefers), are several responsibilities that are crucial to the success of this fantasy world, which include assurance that the lovely, young interns always remain satisfied within the course of their own duties, the Game Czar isn't pulling his hair out over stress related issues related to misbehaving Band Campers, and ensuring that each arriving new Camper is provided with a step by step itinerary plotting out the variety of fantastic activities available to them during the course of their stay .

A step by step itinerary plotting out the variety of fantastic activities available to them during the course of their stay includes reading the itinerary and figuring out the new map that somebody decided to draw as a photographic negative image to place in the folder.

Okay, who's the wiseguy?

The folder looked funnier that way, and with April Fool's being tomorrow, it just seemed fitting.

Always a miscreant prankster in the crowd, Miss Silkie.

It just seemed fitting to note that if grapefruit should be avoided because will intensify the effect of certain medicines to twice their effectiveness, would it not be less desirable to serve the poison and more desirable to serve the grapefruit?

The librarian would not give up the ruby red, so if it ever comes to it, don't even suggest it.

The Grapefruit League spring training baseball preseason ends this weekend which means that, as of Monday, Boston Red Sox baseball is back!!

Boston Red Sox baseball is back in business, but so is Houston Astros baseball, and this is the year that we murder the entirety of the rest of the American League, becoming the only team that I can recollect who has reached the World Series as a member of both the junior and senior leagues.

April Fool's? We'll just see come October. ;)

As a member of both the junior and senior leagues, I participate more in the senior leagues nowadays with dmargalotti and Kenny because, as we've all grown older, it's more difficult to stretch and limber up especially on these snowy Saturday mornings.

Snowy here in Massachusetts anyway.

And, I've only recently joined the senior leagues. I was very happy to be able to be shown around the senior leagues by dmargalotti and Kenny who have been there for quite some time. Back when TFWG started, I was one of the founding members of the junior leagues. Nowadays, Miss Silkie leads that program. Which, by the way, means Miss Silkie is Head Librarian; Chief Mixologist; Director of Fun; Owner/Manager of Miss Silkie's Tasty Tidbits; and, Manager of the Junior Leagues. Whew! Where does she find the time! :)

More pleasant - well, really more hysterically funny - is the snow shoveling man, shoveling away in only his snow boots and angel wings, but I guess it is only funny to the women of band camp and the interns who were particularly appreciative of the effort and didn't give it a second thought.

Men, on the other hand, were quite annoyed and angered to say the least, even though it was not a swipe at men.

The interns who were particularly appreciative of the effort and didn't give it a second thought decided to show their gratitude by leaving some delicious homemade baked goods in his office but when he returned to his office, all he found was an empty plate and a trail of crumbs left behind by some pesky but well-fed rodents.

Pesky but well-fed rodents are much more adorable in cartoons than they are in real life.

Is everyone on vacation? Did you all call out sick? Hello??? Can anyone hear me????

Schmoozing time with the lovely young library interns has never gotten him a free video screening in the auditorium, but we have noticed that a few novels, here and there, have vanished for a couple of weeks and were returned with the sign out card and no return due date still in the undated pocket inside of the back cover.
