Fantastic word game

Good customer service sometimes involves listening to tales of woe shared by families of prospective band campers who stumbled into the defunct, disbanded camp down the road and walked out as soon as the Director started in on them about how he worshiped every one of his blood cells, would soon have the body perfect that the doctor he never met wanted him to be, and then proceeded to offer a lecture over the speaker to all in attendance.

Her globe trekking adventures are always very exciting to listen to especially when they are accompanied by pictures, movies, slides, singing and dancing.

Invited people to the latest royal wedding do not include politicians from outside of the Queen's realm, but do include a few band camp alumni across the pond.

A few band camp alumni across the pond will indeed be present for the upcoming royal family nuptials however, I doubt that they will be accompanying the newly weds on their honeymoon.

Newlyweds on their honeymoon certainly don't need PowerWorld LLC associates shadowing them on their honeymoon but it wouldn't surprise me if they randomly crossed paths with our International Director of Band Camp on one of his own globetrekking missions.

One of scanman's crack security teams, we discovered, had only to snap their fingers to move any hostiles along on their way.

On their way to the library this morning, Scanman and WMC realized that all of the lovely young library interns were in the middle of a training session with Miss Silkie behind closed doors so they opted to grab breakfast at Denny's instead.

Instead of training we discussed how to best approach "On This Day In History" for getting it wrong today by saying that Sidney Poitier was the first African American to win an Oscar in 1964 for his role in Lilies of the Field, when in fact it was Hattie McDaniel for Gone With The Wind in 1940.

His was for best actor, but she was the first to win an Oscar.

In 1940, dmargalotti was one of the earliest interns in the brand new PowerWorld LLC program and, boy, look at him now.

Happy Weekend!

Look at him now because we are just hours away from dmargalotti's Early Morning Contribution to start the new workweek.

Here in Massachusetts, Monday is a holiday for some people (not me) because it's Patriot's Day. It's also Boston Marathon Day which will be marking the 5th anniversary of the marathon bombings.

Topless driving season runs all year long in a rag top MG Midget with a gaping hole in the top through which to put your umbrella before opening and handing to passengers to hang on to when it rains

"When it rains, it pours" is the advertising slogan of Morton Salt and that phrase has been used for more than 100 years in conjunction with the iconic image of an umbrella-holding young lady known as the Morton Salt Girl.

The Morton Salt Girl, the Coppertone Tan Girl, Hooters Girls, the Girl from Ipanema, and the lovely young library interns are all iconic advertising images.

Cigarette ads were banned on TV in 1970 and I remember as a little kid the one slogan "I'll walk a mile for a Camel".

"I'll walk a mile for a Camel" was not something that The Marlboro Man would have said, but then again he eventually died of lung cancer so I guess he didn't say much of anything at that point.
