"Believe it or Not" is the title of the theme song from the TV show, The Greatest American Hero which aired on CBS for three seasons in the early 80's.
In the early 80's, all the buzz around Washington was the shooting of President Garfield and whether he would live.
And, in an even earlier early '80s, the Battle of Yorktown. But all events pale in significance, of course, in comparison to the success of "The Greatest American Hero."
