Fantastic word game

Written in a colloquial style, the Fantastic Word Game (TFWG as some people prefer) is a fun and easy read for kids and adults of all ages.

All ages are pleasantly surprised to see such an active day of contributions here at TFWG (as I prefer) and I'm certainly happy about that but I'm just curious as to what brought everyone here today.

It's not a holiday although it is a holiday week. Are you all on real life vacation this week? And I'm especially happy to see andreajesus still hanging in there.

What brought everyone here today was the same thing that attracts them everyday.

"Everyday People" was a big hit for Sly & the Family Stone with lyrics about prejudice.

Prejudice against anyone at any of our band camp locations has never been acceptable.

Acceptable behaviour has never included schmoozing for tasty tidbits from the lovely young interns either, but it has never stopped a certain game czar these many years.

These many years have taught me some important lessons in life but unfortunately as those years unfolded, I seem to have forgotten most of them.

Most of them interns were hired by me so they have always been very appreciative of my guidance and counselling.

My guidance and counseling have led our campers to fun, to say nothing of the strawberry, banana and orange juice smoothies served cold and fresh in those little plastic oranges I found a cardboard box in the trunk of WMC's jalopy.

WMC's jalopy kind of looks like something Mel Gibson would have driven in one of the Mad Max movies.

In one of the Mad Max movies we never heard him exclaim, "Wow, I could have had a V8".

A V8 doesn't really appeal to me but a cold refreshing Coca Cola does because it's the real thing.

It's the real thing, not the knockoffs, that'll get me to part with my money.

My money can buy a lot of things but like the Beatles taught us, it "Can't Buy Me Love".

"Can't Buy Me Love" is also the title of a 1987 romantic comedy.

Romantic comedy in the 80s returned after disappearing for a time in the early 70s, and was practically a genre unto itself.

A genre unto itself would be movies that Disney is taking from classic animation to live action such as Dumbo.

Dumbo, Pluto, Mickey and Minnie Mouse, Bugs Bunny, MarcB, Tweety, and Roadrunner will all be appearing at this weekend's PowerWorld Good Times Band Camp Carnival.

Sounds like a lot of fun. I'll be at the dunk tank (as the dunkee). Come on down and have some fun before heading to Illusions.

This weekend's PowerWorld Good Times Band Camp Carnival was a lot of fun but there was that one unfortunate mishap on the Tilt-A-Whirl.
