Stink bombs can empty a room in no time at all.
In no time at all, the tables were cleared as the cafeteria crew began prepping for the next meal.
Moping about your non existent social life is not going to endear you to members of the opposite sex.
Their training, while intensive and grueling, could never prepare The Dirty Dozen for the unique challenges posed by this game.
The occasional duplication of a clue seems to have caused a hiccup in the FWG Space/Time Continuum but we shall nevertheless attempt to correct our course with this post.
With this post, I will attempt to explain what happened.
What happened was that I responded to "members of the opposite sex" with a sentence that ended with "features," only to see, after that sentence loaded, that Silkie had responded to the same clue while I was working on my sentence with a sentence that ended differently. So I went back and changed mine to a sentence that ended with "this game," only to find that Silkie had responded to my temporary posting of the "features" clue. At this point, I left the forum, figuring I'd caused enough chaos and hoping that Silkie might still be around to set things straight. Sorry for warping the continuum, all. Carry on!

What happened during this space/time interruption was that we had a new contributor a couple of pages back whom no one bothered to welcome.
And so I shall welcome Yabadabado1 to the TFWG family. Since I am on vacation, I am unable to offer my long-winded Welcome and Rules so this short-winded version will have to suffice. If our new friend Yabadabado1 returns, I will do my long-winded welcome thing once I return from vacation. Yabadabado1, welcome, come back often, use one sentence and one sentence only and begin your contribution with the ending clue from the previous contribution. Thank you.

No one bothered to welcome the new guy (or girl) because only the officially designated, duly appointed, and legitimately elected Game Czar is permitted to carry out such duties.
It looks like our Game Czar has gotten a little soft after so many years of game czaring because in the past, an incident like the one that happened yesterday would have lead to demerits, timeouts, and marks on your permanent record.
